My sister-in-law is expecting her first child and I would like to make a gift hamper full of goodies for herself for while she is pregnant. So my question is this: While you are/were pregnant what are some of the best gifts you wanted or recieved that would have made things more comfortable for you?

I have been feeling really sick to my stomach the past week every time I am hungry and everytime I eat. Would this be a sign that I am pregnant? I just started my period last week and my cramps were a lot more painful than usual. I am still feeling really sick to my stomach everyday. Could this mean anything?

my girlfriend is 13 weeks pregnant and she sleeps on her belly which really get on my nerves, what i believe is what i believe and i dont care what the doctor say that it is alright for her to.
when can she stops sleeping on her belly cos i think the baby wont grow if she does. any advice

I have been taking BCPs for several years. For the past 2 months (sept and oct) i have not taken any b/c i messed up the start date for each pack.

Can you ovulate soo soon after stop taking BCPs?

If so, according to ovulation calendars, my fertile window was 10/8 thru 10/13, with ovulation on 10/12 (I have had stretchy discharge...) Got it so far?? I had un-protected sex on 10/11! How soon can i take a home test?? My menstrual is due 10/26.

We fooled around about 5-7 days ago, although there was no peneteration involved. Now she's having some spotting and some cramps in her abdomen that she noticed on Sunday (1 day ago). She's told me that she's never experienced this before and that she's on day 11 or in the middle of her cycle. From my research, it's too early to have a pregnancy test done. Does this mean that she can be pregnant?

My gf is not on any form of birth control or any medication that I'm aware of. Also this may have occured when the pre ejaculate was transfered to the vagina via her hands or mine through groping or maybe some other way. I did not ejaculate but there were times when the pre-ejaculate was present when we fooled around.

We're both young and very scared. Please help.

i can't bend over to tie my shoes without smashing the baby, i can't ever get comfortable at night. i had to give up smoking and drinking. and now i caught his cold, have a canker sore and a hemorrhoid!

i know, i know this is part of the "miracle" of having kids but this isn't feeling like a miracle at the moment. shouldn't he have to feel this misery too?

Thank you all so much for trying to help me make sense of this. I am not on any medication. My doc says the preg test could be wrong. I got a second opinion and feel like I am just being fobbed off all the time and told to "wait and see". I'm fed up! Surely if I'm not pregnant I will bleed?! I've never missed a period in my life and so this is very unusual for me - did a test today and it was neg. I'm getting shooting pain in my breasts the last few days as well. I keep thinking I'm not preg then I wake and feel so sick and then think I am again - it's crazy. I don't understand why it wouldn't show on a preg test if I was. Very strange - but many thanks to you all for your support!

I am pregnant, about 12 weeks by my calcs (scan on weds) but I feel dreadful, not just sick and tired but really ill, I get hot and cold sweats, can hardly move for exhaustion and ache all over. I feel like I have a serious illness, that sounds dramatic but it feels so bad. Can one baby cause this much illness, none of my other pregnancies have been this bad. Has anyone else suffered in this way or can anyone shed any light....per-lease.

Ok i know iam a women and i should know all this but me nad my husband are trying really hard to have a baby. i had my period sept. 13 so do i expect my period on the 13 or do i count down 28 days on the calender that is my next expected period. iam tryingto figure out the datefor me to ovaulte and be fertile.

we had sex on the 4th of oct so that was 12 days ago and today is the 16th i have one little boy but i didnt have any signs of pregnancy with him until later on except for nose bleeds. I looked it up on the net and doctors say it is very common to have nose bleeds when you are pregnate. I had a nose bleed today for the first time since i was prenate with my son 3 years ago... my question is if i take a test now would it show up just after 12 days or do i need to wait a little longer my periods have always been messed up so i really cant go by that .
