I have been taking BCPs for several years. For the past 2 months (sept and oct) i have not taken any b/c i messed up the start date for each pack.
Can you ovulate soo soon after stop taking BCPs?
If so, according to ovulation calendars, my fertile window was 10/8 thru 10/13, with ovulation on 10/12 (I have had stretchy discharge...) Got it so far?? I had un-protected sex on 10/11! How soon can i take a home test?? My menstrual is due 10/26.

Hopefully if your having unprotected sex, your OK if you end up prego. But you can test as early as the 23 with the first response preg. test. And I was told it all depends on your body with ovulating so soon after stopping your birth control after taking it so many years. Some get prego. right away, and some take years. Hope this helps.

Some pregnancy test can detect the hormone as early as 4 days before a missed preiod, but to be for sure I would wait and take on a few days after you missed your period.
