Jumping up and down is pointless, I agree. If you have a regular cycle, the time when you had sex wouldn't be when you are most fertile, but you are definitely at risk!

I would say get the "Plan B" pill...it's different from the abortion pill because it doesn't always cause an abortion...sometimes it prevents pregnancy.

The good news is its available over the counter in a lot of places, You just need to be 18. Or head to Planned Parenthood, because believe me, it's better to be safe than sorry!

If this conflicts with your religious beliefs, I'm sorry...but there's nothing else you can do after sex.

It really amazes me how ignorant kids are about sex. You have sex without a clue how to prevent pregnancy, disease, or the emotional let down of having sex with someone who only used you which is usually the case with teenage boys.

You must have access to a computer because you are on here so why don't you do a little research and learn about human reproduction? Condoms? How to prevent sexually transmitted diseases? How many single mothers there are and how they have to live at or below the poverty level?

There was a girl on here yesterday wanting to know what to do because she tested positive for the HIV virus AT 13 YEARS OLD!

Go and learn - right now before you ever have sex again.

Yes ma'am it is high risk. I have had two children and I got preggie once when I was on my period and once right after my period. So you are definately high risk. And the pill (everyday) and the shot are the best things to prevent pregnancy besides just stop having sex but that is hard to do lol.

In normal women the time that they are fertile is 16-14 days before they start their next period. So if you are pretty regular with your periods and generally know when you start then count backword from there. Like if you are supposed to start again in 3 weeks then you should be okay but if you are supposed to start in 2 wks then you might have something to worry about. You should buy a box of condoms and take one with you everywhere and hide them under your mattress or something if you are afraid you will get in trouble.

You can go to your doctor or to a clinic and get emergency contraceptive. You have 72 hours to use it to prevent the pregnancy.

Usually you don't ovulate until about two weeks after your period but you may want to get what I suggested above just to be on the safe side.

Good luck

condoms. the pill. a diaphragm. but if its too late for those, the morning after pill works up to 72 hours after sex. or an abortion, if it gets to that.

jumping up and down will do nothing.

your most fertile time is about halfway into your monthly cycle... but its pretty standard for your ovulations to not follow a set schedule.

get on the pill! planned parenthood gives them out for free!

You're probably at a high risk to be pregnant. If your period was last week, there's a chance that it could lead to being pregnant. Within the this week and next, you'll be ovulating, that's the window to being pregnant. Definitely see your doctor, and they'll lead you through it.

other than those pills, there is no way to prevent pregnancy if the sperm found your egg. how are you going to get up into your fallopian tubes??? even douching won't work. jumping won't do a thing, and you better set your friend straight before she jumps herself into a few babies!

In the future I would recommend not having unprotected sex. Get some type of birth control. I would also hope that you are selective in who you sleep with. I would be scared to death not to be, with everything that is out there.

There is a chance. I think it is better you taka a contraceptive pill within 72 hours. And i don't think so jumping will do any good.
