we had sex on the 4th of oct so that was 12 days ago and today is the 16th i have one little boy but i didnt have any signs of pregnancy with him until later on except for nose bleeds. I looked it up on the net and doctors say it is very common to have nose bleeds when you are pregnate. I had a nose bleed today for the first time since i was prenate with my son 3 years ago... my question is if i take a test now would it show up just after 12 days or do i need to wait a little longer my periods have always been messed up so i really cant go by that .

You need to wait longer. You could take one today, but it would probably be negative no matter what since it's so early. You don't want to get discouraged for no reason, just be patient a little longer. Good luck!

i would say wait a little while longer. i know its a drag having to wait that long and it seems like forever. but if you take a test now it might turn out negative because there wouldnt be enuf hcg to detect it. when you do test, try to get a first response in case it is a little early its more sensitive to pick it up sooner. good luck with everything and lots of baby dust!

I found out I was pregnant with my second son when I was just a week and a half along. Although the Dr's office test was negative. They did blood work and they told me that my levels were low so that I was either loosing the baby or barely pregnant and it was the latter...My son was born happy and healthy! I used the cheap brand and it worked great!! Good Luck!!

You can take a test now. It will show up. I have had two children and I took mine early too. So just go ahead and take it and buy a two pack so if one is negative wait a week and try it again.

Probably too early for a test, but they are cheap, so you could try one out. Also, check with your doctor.....they might run labs for you to confirm. Blood tests can be shown just days after conception. Good Luck

I found out 10 days after ovulation. People say you should wait longer but I got sick of hearing my husband telling me I was pregnant! He was right :)
You can test whenever you want, but your most accurate results would be closer to the expected time of your period.

I personally always try to wait until my period is two days late before I test but some test you can tell 5 days before your missed period. I just don't like to jump the gun.
