I am feeling close to the same. I am miserable. My first pregnancy was a breeze compared to this one. My doctor says its just a pregnancy phase. I can't wait for the next phase to start so I can feel human again.

Just a guess here: some women in some pregnancies feel great all the way through. Some get sick all day long for the whole pregnancy. Perhaps you are an extreme case, and your "morning sickness" is just worse than what is usual.
But my advice is this: when you're pregnant and concerned about your health - which also could be your baby's health - call a doctor and get checked out. Always better to make sure you are healthy and baby is safe!

Realize this answer is a little late to help the person asking but. Might help others who come across it...... despite what the one person who answered its not psychological..... every pregnancy is different.... my first I had horrible morning sickness into second trimester but otherwise felt fine, my second I had morning sickness first trimister was fine second trimester then felt on brink of death for third until 33 weeks when I had him (tired, sore, vomitting, diaherrea, pain and my toes and stuff would randomly pop out of joint, this third one is awful morning sickness until 11 weeks but in normal range not overly bad then felt fine for a week. Then, pain in shoulders and back constant fatigue, neausea, hot flashes etc last two weeks (its all normal, hormones do strange things) for most people it goes away around now or real soon so hang in there, rest up.... I come from a huge family tons of sibs and even my mom says each one is diffferent some are a breeze and some are awful.....

well if your doctor says all the medical side is fine then go to the psychological side. maybe some situation surrounding your pregnancy or the situation in which you got pregnant is not very comfortable for you. maybe the reasons why you got pregnant are somehow disturbing you. might have a list of reasons why women get pregnant thinking they want it but they dont:
ex. to perpetuate a relationship that is dying. to comfort the loneliness of one of the parents.ussually the mom.to fullfil some subconcious agreement within the family like everyone in this family has to have 3 kids,, or sththink of you reason and meditate on it,, maybe you find your solution there and you will finally accept the pregnancy, when you realize where your decision is coming from

Do you have a negative blood group? I felt like this with my third and the baby was positive and I was negative and my body was in effect rejecting the baby, but i just needed a boost of an injection. Another reason could be a your carrying a different sex, some people find it easier to carry a particular sex. Just go get checked to be safe. Good Luck and everything will be fine whatever the reason :)

you might have the flu on top of everything. Especially if you have more kids at home. To feel exhausted and down right lousy is normal, but to fill hot and cold and have the sweats and aches all over, sounds like the flu

I felt that way while I was pregnant. I felt like I had the flu the until I was about 28 weeks. Tell your OB how you are feeling just to make sure everything is going ok. I hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself.

I felt rough as rough can be throughout my second pregnancy. Sick to the point on waking in my bed at night to be sick, tired and everything else. Hope that it sorts itself out but you being a mum already will know to mention this at your scan. Hope all goes well.

I had the same symptoms but they were caused by hyperemesis gravidarum (the nausea led to dehydration which led to uti's and fevers which in turn caused my hot/cold sweats.) The best thing to do is go to the doctor to rule out the flu or an infection.
