my and my boyfriend picked out the names dominick for a boy.but neither one of our parents like it actually they hate and make fun of the name, should i change it or just let it be.we both like the name but we also liked keegan more witch do you like better

It is your choice, not anyone elses. I like the name Dominick. It is likely to get shortenend to Nick or most likely to Dom, so just make sure you are happy with those names too. Keegan, he will get called Keegs! Once again, will you mind that?
Think about how those names sound for an adult, not just a baby or child. I think Dominick is the better choice as it is classic instead of fashionable, and as your child grows into an adult he can choose to use one of the shortened versions if he wants to.

I like Dominick, but keegan reminds me kegal.lol. There was a girl at school named Ovarien and everyone made fun of her because it was similar to Ovaries.
You could always have Dominick as his middle name otherwise, ignore them.

Your the mum and dad after all so if you love the name go with it. It isnt fair that you are feeling the pressure to change your mind on names I love keegan, its your baby noone elses> I have a William and next time id love a jack or megan so enjoy your bundle of joy, hope it all goes well motherhood is tiring but unbelievable, waking up everyday gives you something to smile about.....

Not too hip on Dominick but I love Keegan! That is such a great name. I wish I would have used that name for my son.

Keegan reminds me of keygen which is an ileagal tool for cracking software - needless to say i dont think this is an apropritae name for a child.
Dominick is absolutly beautiful and i dont think your parents need to say anything it is your decisiin (unless you are talking about a serious deal with parents that loose control over theese issues.) If its just that they dont like it - so what?

I like them both. Your parents have already had their baby naming days and so have his. Now it is your turn, you choose the name you see fit. Names mean a lot, and you should choose the name that has meaning to you. I am one that believes a name says something about character, some think it is silly but that is for you to decide.

I love the name Dominick. I would name my child what me and my boyfriend wanted to name it. Your parents will adjust...and if they dont like Dominick they could always call him nick for short...oh parents love to put in their two cents.
