Pregnancy - October 2006

I am 2 weeks late on my period, dont feel like I should even be starting. I have taken cheap tests and expensive tests from the store and they say NOT PREGNANT. What could be wrong with me?

Hi does anybody know what could be causing really bad hip pains (more of a really sore ache) at 8 weeks pregnant. I cant get in to see my GP until next week so I'd really appreciate some advice. The pain gets worse the longer I stand, I work in a shop and as I cant lift or anything I'm pretty much restricted to till work which requires standing for my entire shift. I can take breaks to sit down when there arent customers but that isnt very often and for only really short periods of time.
I have just finished work now and can barely walk its that sore, is this normal?

I took a pregnancy test (actually five lol) and all came out positive. I called the Doctor right away and scheduled an appointment which he set up for a week from now, which would make me right aroound 5 or 6 weeks along. The thing is I lost a baby 5 months ago, and for the last two weeks I've been having some menstrual like cramping off and on (switches from left ovary to the right, sometimes in the middle of my stomach directly below the belly button) and seems to happen mostly when I'm sitting down or at night when I'm laying down. A friend of mine told me she had the same thing go on with her and she had a tubal pregnancy, so now I'm totally freaked out. I want this baby so much so I'm praying that all is ok, but this waiting another week is driving me crazy. Has anyone experienced cramping along with pregnancy, or do I need to be worried? I called the Dr. and he seems to think it's just my uterus streching, I'm still STRESSING about this though. If anyone can help...Thanks alot.

I am now in week 32 of my pregnancy and have been having Braxton-Hicks contractions off and on for the last few weeks, and I never signed up for the childbirth preparation classes and now I'm thinking I should have.
I followed my doctor's advice, did everything I was supposed to, and had two books that I read, but are the classes really that helpful in preparing a first time mom?

what is implantation bleeding??..can you get it right after sex?? I may be pregnant so I was wondering since I spotted right after sex if I could be pregnant??..what does implantation bleeding look like??..im lower part of my stumache gets crampy ever once in awhile..and Im not suppose to start my period for another 4 days..but when my period is gonna come my breast hurt a week before it does come..and they dont hurt..help?..may I be pregnant?

I am having a C-section. Why, Because I have to. From those of you who have had this done is it really that bad? I know I will be sore but will I feel like my stomach will open up after, like when I move. How long will it take to be somewhat active again?

Found out yesterday that I am 10 weeks preg, the dr thinks how many of you had implantation bleeding around when your period was due but did not get a postive result until you missed you second period. I went to the dr in sept neg result went back on monday positive result I had five postives since oct 14

After me and My boyfriend had sex about 2 hours later I went to the bathroom and I spotted it wasnt my period..normally a week before my period my breast get so sore and tender and I more 4 more days and Nothing..every once in a while I get these weird cramps..not period cramps either..But I mean..I spotted it was light

My husband and I did the math and we figured that I was 3 weeks pregnant. I talked to my doctor and she said that I am 5 weeks pregnant. I told her the same date that my husbnad and I calculated from so why is it different?

I am 16 going on 17 and a senior in highschool(yes i know i skipped a grade) my bf is a senior also but 18 yrs old. My bf and i started having sex over the summer and my cycles are pretty regular so we thought we could use the pill which a friend of mine gets . It's her perscription though and she and i split the pills half/ half but my period has not come and it was supposed to come the last week of september. I am really scared my parents are super strict and over bearing even though i am an honors student.

My Husband and I want another child, some time soon. I allready know about avulation and how all that works, so I hope nobody writes me telling me about how many days before and when it ends. I've already done my research on that. I also know that you could get pregnant on your period, but I'm not do for my period for another 6 days. My question is even when your supposed to be all done ovulating can you get pregant? Can you get pregnant 6 days defore your next period?

well, i was just curious about abortion? I am NOT getting one or anything like that. I was just wondering what do they do to let you about a baby? my teacher say that they will cut up the baby into peices. But that sounds really scarry and gross. What do they actually do? do you have to push a baby out?.

I have all the basics ...crib, extra sheets, receiving blankets, blankets, clothing, diapers (gallor), 2 car seats ( dont ask ), bouncy chairs, lotions bathtubs, bath towels and bath robes, breast pumps , hats, mittens, coats, socks ..... I think i have everything... is there anything else experienced mothers could point out that i might need.. it would help out great

I am 38 weeks along...I have read that NIPPLE STIMULATION, artificial rupture of the membrances, and potosin are the 3 ways to make you go into labor. The nipple stimulation goes way back. I have tried the sex thing and it is the last thing I want to do right now. I have walked, climbed stairs, castor oil, clergy sage oil, everything manageable.
I was JUST WONDERING what the correct way to stimulate your nipples was. It is suppose to have the same effect as a breast pump???
