Breast pads, maternity pads, baby wipes, you might not need lotions, but definitely get E45 or other UNPERFUMED moisturiser, baby nail clippers (my baby came out with really long razor sharp nails) and the most important- A freezer full of meals that you have already made- you can then defrost and heat through, rather than stand for ages and cook. I know that's not really for baby, but it'll help you out no end. Also, if you can, go out now and bulk buy those pesky items like toilet rolls and non-biological washing powder, then you know that you won't run out when you most need them!
Other than that, I think you're all set. You sound super organised and I think your going to be a great mom!
Good luck, I wish you all the best!

Go to the dollar tree and buy diaper disposal bags. At 100 for a dollar they are great. They really do keep the stink out. They are great for everything. I keep a box in the car some in the diaper bag and some at home. They are great for clothes that have been spit up on. Dirty diapers, so you don't feel bad throwing them away at someone elses house. These work just as well as the expensive ones. I just took some out of the box and throw them in one of my extra socks that I have. That way the box dosent take to much room up in the diaper bag. Good Luck

Don't buy another thing. As long as you have a car seat and outfit to bring your baby home in, you're okay for now. You won't know what you really need until you're actually using it. For example, I had tons of onsies and little outfits for newborns and I barely used any of them. What I actually put him in 95% of the time was those long gowns with the elastic bottoms at home and one piece rompers for going out.

People will tell you that you can't live without a certain product, but you may not like it. And guess what, Target and Toys 'r Us are probably right around the corner - you'll be able to get things as you need them. Borrowing and hand-me-downs are also great ways to test out different things without breaking the bank.

Good luck!

A stuffed Gund or other toy to keep on the changing table that will play songs when you squeeze it. My baby fusses when her clothes or diaper is changed but she loves the songs from the Gund giraffe so it has been a big help for us.

Also you might learn 4 or 5 lullabies to sing when the baby needs a little calming before bedtime. Soft, high-pitched singing can be very comforting, especially if you stick to the same songs and the baby gets familiar with them.

instead of diapers, you should have gotten the giftcertificates for diapers from the local Babie's R Us. You don't know specifically what size diaper the baby will need, (preemie's swaddlers, size 1 diapers. also, brands vary.)

the two carseats is very smart.

some things that come to mind from my baby shower... i got a diaper genie (which i loved so much...), a digital ear thermometer, a play mat for my baby, an overpriced stroller system with an infant carrier and a base. i just went out and bought the second base, and we secured them both into the cars, so all we had to do was place her in her infant carrier, and snap it into the base of the car we were using. made travel a breeze.

consider diaperbags, nail kits, infant gumbrushes (those adorable little gummy fingertip toothbrushes), and as you get closer to your due date, start thinking about the medicine cabinet. infant motrin, fever reducers, pain relievers, (they do come seperate, just read labels). you can never have too many onesies, footed pajamas, and side-snap undershirts (for baby), and of course, burp rags (for you). bottles, spare binkys (corks, stormplugs, lifesavers, whatever you want to call them), simple black, white & red toys for them to focus on, teething rings (it's amazing how quick they need them.) a good baby moniter (unless the child sleeps in the room with you).

really, you should wait for your baby shower before you buy anything else. see that you make out a list, register with your local baby supply store and let those attending your shower know where you are registered. Your friends and family will take it from there.

Good luck, and have a healthy baby.

passifire if you plan on using, a swaddle blanket is nice, do you have a thermometer to test bath water? what about breast baggies to store milk, or breast pads so your shirt doesn't get soaked. I cant help with everything, you will deffinatly need to run out and buy a few things when the time comes. Good luck and congrats

To add to the list...wipes, a bobby pillow, or something similar for your baby to lay on, a bassinet, if you plan to use one, burp cloths or something else for drooling, bottles, a sterilizer (microwave ones work great), a pacifier if you want, and maybe a white noise machine or the aquarium that attaches to the crib. It helps them relax as many babies like to sleep with some noise in the room. Good luck!

First thing that popped into my head after reading what you have listed was a baby monitor but i am sure that you have one already. Things that I have used that I dont think I could have been without was Bassinet, a pack-n-play, baby body pillow, a wrap around pillow for mom....

-Baby Monitor
-Mittens for the baby to wear to prevent them from scratching themselves
-DIaper Bag
-Ear Plugs (just a joke...)
-Changing Pad...great to use on a bed or in the car

And that's about it... Good Luck!♥
