any suggestions on fighting nausea while i'm at work. i havent told anyone at work that i'm pregnant yet, i'm only 7 weeks. any snacks, drinks ect that helped you?

We are having a hard time using one syllable names for first names. They work better as middle names, but we want to call our child by his/her first name. If it's a boy his name will be Cole. If it's a girl her name will be Raine.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and last night I had decided to have a half a cigarette , bad I know. I felt incredibly guilty.I had read though, that it can cause a miscarriage if it is an excessive amount bit is a half a cigarette excessive? I went to bed as usual very hungry, but instead of waking up a billion times in the night like I usually do to eat or go to the restroom, I did not wake up at all. What's worse is that I woke up this morning and I was not even hungry. I don't have any dis-charge , I feel fine, I never had morning sickness to begin with, just nausea and bloating and the breasts hurting, but I am worried. Should I be?

When I first got prego I went to the Dr and the did a ultrasound at 71/2 weeks because I thought I might be farther along than I was. He said my due date was the 14th, then when I had my first actual ultrasound she said I was a week behind and that is my new due date....I feel like I am unsure now about what time I should expect my baby. Anybody been there before or have any advice. Could the ultrasound tech be off?

my guy and i are virgin.we had dry sex (without having intercourse) on 31/08/2006.he had a masturbation and the fluid which came out of his sex organ had spread around my vaginal part.now since some days i have develop a tendency of nausea,sometimes headache and eyepain.is there's a chance if i can get pregnant?please do reply seriously.

30 years since I been pregnant. Alot has changed with time. I actually have a 3 part question. Will start with "butterflies".... I am not quite sure yet how far along I am but feel like these little twitching butterfly movements - sometimes. Normal?? Next is boobs. It is like they hurt on the "inside" and I see big blue veins around them - that I do not normall witness. Again is that normal? And finally hiccups....Seems as though I get them alot. Plus it also seems like I am quite clumsy these days. Sorry for so many questions - but 30 years ago - was a long time ago. Ty for any help

I previously had a wonderful OB doctor who saw me through my difficult pregnancy and delivered my first son... I am now pregnant again... and have a new insurance company that his office does not accept.. so I have had to switch OB doctors for this pregnancy. I am 28 weeks now and am still not "comfortable" with this new doctor's office... it is a lot different from my first doctor and his staff. I actually have not even seen the doctor. I have appointments with her, but every time I go in.. something "comes up" and I see the nurse practitioner instead. I have talked to other women who say it is typical to not see the doctor until your last few months but since this was not the experience I had with my first pregnancy.. it worries me.. Is this really typical? What are some ways that I can find more information on this doctor other than what the staff at her office tells me?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and I feel like someone hit me with a truck! THis started yesterday. It hurts to inhale because it feels as if my stomach/chest is bruised. The pain comes an goes. Has anyone else experienced this.

I am 37 weeks pregnant.A couple nights ago I lost my mucus plug which was tinged with light blood. Doctor said I am 2-3cm dialated.And they sent me home because I was not contracting enough. Since then I have had a couple contractions,back hurts and Ihad pressure down there a couple times last night. Today after I went pee I stodd up and had to sit right back down because I had a little bit of yellow mucus looking stuff coming out again. What could this mean?

i got pregnant 5 months after my first daughther was born, so i never really healed properly. anyway, after the second c-section i was bleeding internally and the surgery was redone. some how i feel as if i am at fault for not doing a backround check on my doctor. somewhere in my heart i know that if i knew i wasnt the only person that has gone that id feel alittle at ease? i hope i dont sound crazy, but does anyone know if ob/gyns are supposed to preform c-sections.
anwers to my concern would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

me and my guy had sex 31th of last month, he did not came inside me cause i was afraid instead he just rubs his 'you know' to mine..
i was suppose to have period last month but it missed.. at first it doesnt bother me cause i have irregular menstruation, but now i am really worried because until now i havent got my period! on the 2nd week of this month, my nipples hurt, i think it last 5days and i think my breasts look larger. and now i've been having cramps, and i always have discharge.. i thought it was my period but its not.. my discharges came in diff colors.. 1 time i saw it yellow, sometimes brown and sometimes white. i am so worried and i told my guy about that and he said its nothing because first and foremost he did not came inside me, he just RUB it with his 'you know'.. but still i wasnt convinced about it.

do you think there's something wrong about me or i'm just being paranoid? is there a possibility that i could get pregnant?

please help me, thanks for your answers

About a week ago I had an HCG shot to trigger ovulation. I was pregnant b/f and had a M/C in April. Just like then I have been short of breath. I just can't seem to get a full breath. I know that the shot is the same hormones as pregnancy and I feel that this is why I have been feeling this way. Any pregnant women have this very early on?

i missed my period . it was supposed to be on 18th sept. i had sex just once or twice in this month. i took precaution.but i couldn't see any symptomps of period. am I pregnent???

Can someone please tell me, how soon after conception can a heartbeat be detected ? My friend has had IVF treatment, the embryo was placed in the womb about 3 weeks ago, she went for a scan today ( as according to their " official " dates, she's infact 6 weeks pregnant ) ..but no heartbeat was found ! Is this anything to worry about ? She has another scan next week, but she's concerned and I would like to be able to reassure her ! Is it too soon to detect a heartbeat, or has it failed ?

im booked in to have my scan at 17weeks but everyone is telling me this is to soon to see the sex and that id be wasting my money. this is a big decision and would like to know if anyone else has had a gender scan that early.....all i seem to be told is the ppl who had a scan and that they were told the wrong sex .
