I was wondering if I continue breasfeeding to my 1 year old, would my baby (I am 4 weeks pregnant) get the nutrients also from my body?

I am pregnant (2 months), I have cold symptoms, stuffy/runny nose,coughing,sore throut, throwing up, headache. I know that I can't go out and just take any medicine, but does anybody have any suggestions. After throwing up I feel better for a little while but then it happens all over again. Please help me.

I am about 14 weeks pregnant and I just want to have some idea about whether or not I am having a girl or boy before I actually find out from the doctor. I've heard already that when some other people were pregnant with their sons, that they craved meat. I am not craving meat, so hopefully it is a girl. Anything would help though. I'm just curious.

I was in the hospital for 14 hours...10 hours on pitocin. I had many contractions, none were painful. At the end, I had dialated to a 2. My doctor wants me to try another induction next tuesday (2 days before my due date)

A little background: Baby was turned transverse (sideways) and they wanted me to come in before I go into labor so they could turn her head-down and then induce me to get her out vaginally instead of just jumping the gun and doing a C-Section. When I arrived at the hospital, she was already head-down, so they just went ahead and started the induction. She has now stayed head-down for 3 days. I'm thinking of just telling him I don't want to induce, but wait, now that she is head-down and ready to go. By the way, My first 2 kids were born easily, no complications or problems, but they were both AFTER my due dates.
Any experience or suggestions would be helpful. thanks.

I am 36 weeks pregnant, and have a had a pretty normal pregnancy. One of my co-workers is also a pregnant, about a month behind me. She is 36 years old, smokes, drinks, and uses marijuana-she also had to have a cerclage (stitch on her cervix) because she started to dialate at 27 weeks. My feelings are that it's her body and her baby, so if she wants to potentially do harm, then it's her problem. However, she constantly belittles me for not doing those things and for taking care of myself by eating decent foods and drinking water rather than pop or sugary drinks all the time. I am not perfect, by far, and I don't pretend to be. I have tried to ignore her because I know I'm doing what is right for myself and my baby. I don't usually speak to her, but she's started butting in on conversations I have with our other co-workers. I only have a week and a half before my maternity leave starts, but this chick is getting on my last nerve and I'm soooo close to losing it on her. Any suggestions?

How many weeks do you have to be to see any kind of something in a sonogram....

I went to the doctors when i was 2 weeks late on my period and the doctor determined to do a sosnogram but they could not see the fetus... I had the placenta bag but no fetus... could i still be pregnate... Now its been two months since my period had to haad comed... but nothing yet... help please just need some feed back...

Hi, i know you get this question a lot and sorry for asking it again!! But am kinda worried. about a week ago now i had unprotected sex twice with my boyfriend and it was during my most fertile stage (around ovulation) and he ejaculated. I dont no if its just cos im worried or what, but now i have really sore breasts and i had a bit of heartburn. I have been getting increasingly tired and going to bed earlier and i have bad headaches...i know it might be too early for these symptoms but you know...its too early to take a test...i just want someone else to tell me their opinion for a slight peace of mind. thanks xx

I have irregular periods so i dont know when my last was exactly. I have headaches, nausea, dizzyness, bloating, stomach fills full when im not. Ok so I had sex with my b/f about 2 weeks ago, and then again last week... first time he didn't come and the 2nd time he did... but not in me, i haven't gotten my period yet, and i've been freaking out all week even though i took a test and it showed i wasn't pregnant... so why haven't i gotten my period? i've had nausea this week as well... am i just super stressed? please help!

I am 17 weeks pregnant and I am losing weight. 2-3 Lbs a day. I know this is unhealthy, and I am not meaning for this to happen. I have no energy and I have dark circles under the eyes. I eat just fine. I get light headed and dizzy all the time and I have pains like the pains you get when you go running. I have never had a pregnancy like this. I have had 3 other babies. I have tried to look up anything that can give me a lead on what is going on, but I cant find anything. I would simply go to my Dr. but I am visiting with my Dad 650 miles away from home and I dont go home for another month. Please HELP!! What should I do?? What is wrong with me?? Thank you!!

This may seem a stupid question at first, but I have heard that the trimesters in pregnancy are actually different lengths and not exactly 12 weeks per trimester.
Im trying to work out the date my first trimester will be up. My date of last period was 17th August which would make me just over 5 weeks pregnant. do they work out length of trimester from last period or from conception? All this info is confusing me so Im hoping more experienced ladies out there may help me work out a date when my first trimester is up.

I have had a previous miscarriage so am trying to pinpoint the date when I can breathe a bit easier again.

Please, no stupid answers, only genuine helpful ones please

I have the dr's oppinon on my question but i wana hear from real people who have actualy experienced my issue!
My problem is that i contracted genital herpes during my pregnancy and now im not sure wether its safe or not to have a vaginal delivery! have you "public" ever heard of someone delivering vaginaly that had no outbreak at time of delivery and then the baby had no future side effects?
