I am about 14 weeks pregnant and I just want to have some idea about whether or not I am having a girl or boy before I actually find out from the doctor. I've heard already that when some other people were pregnant with their sons, that they craved meat. I am not craving meat, so hopefully it is a girl. Anything would help though. I'm just curious.

I totally agree Sweets & Fruits it's a girl. I could eat just about anything with my son but, now I am 30 weeks pregnant with my daughter and I was sick for my 1st trimester then after that its been sweets and fruits.

Sweety those are just "old wives tales" what you eat or crave has nothing to do with your baby's gender! According to my friends. My first baby was a girl. I had all these beautiful little pink dresses and blankets etc. It's a good thing babies don't really have a fashion desire because my son would have been furious that I had to bring him home dressed in Pink EVERYTHING!!!, When I went to the store a week or so later I got so aggravated when people would stop and say "OH what a beautiful baby girl" Luckily a friend had her baby and she thought she was having another boy but she had a girl so we traded clothes etc. What a relief1 lolol My best advice is to wait and see what the ultra sound says. Even then don't go out and buy everything according to that because quite often the second ultra sound a little later will prove the first one wrong!
I just read the answer given by "nonofyourbizwax" I urge you not to try that experiment! You mix urine "which is amonia" with draino and you'll create a toxic gas which could harm or kill you and your baby, or cause harmful effects on your unborn child! Some people have this assumption that the baby inside is protected from things the mother might breath or injest, everything you do that can travel through your blood goes through your baby!

UR 14 weeks pregnant, congratulations 2 U & URs.
Start looking 4ward 2 a new-life, no matter which sex it is.
Sorry, I didn't want 2 know, I just waited.
But I have heard.
Boys carry at the front & girls nearer 2 UR back,
A bit of old wives tale crossed with a Babys weight, assuming Boys weigh more.

I have heard this works.... Good Luck!
ITEMS YOU WILL NEED FOR THE Drano TEST:
- Approximately 2 tablespoons of CRYSTAL Drano
- Medium glass or glass jar (preferably one you don't intend to use again)
STEP 1
You will need a urine sample of about two to three ounces. How this urine sample is procurred is up to the participants. Have fun with it, be creative, we don't care, just don't injure anybody. The urine sample must be fresh - preferably the first of the morning.
STEP 2
Take the test materials outside. With the Drano in the glass or jar, carefully pour the urine sample on top of the Drano. You will want to have about equal amounts of urine and Drano.
STEP 3
Observe. If the really nasty-smelling concoction you now posess darkens to a brownish color within the first 10 seconds, IT'S A BOY! If it just sits there for more than 10-15 seconds, IT'S A GIRL.
In either case, IT'S GOING TO SMELL REALLY BAD, AND YOU'LL WANT TO HOSE IT DOWN FAIRLY QUICKLY!

Although there is no way to tell whether you're having a boy or except by ultrasound....There are "old wives tales." I asked my doctor about some of them, and he told me that most of them are usually not accurate. For example...The tale goes....fast heart-rate=girl....slow heart-rate=boy. Totally opposite for me! My sons was fast and daughters slow.
I know I couldn't eat anything sweet when I was pregnant with my son...but I can now that I am pregnant with my daughter.

There are really no real things that will tell you what you are having, but with my girls I carryed them in my back and you could barley tell I was pregnant. But Now I am pregnant with a boy and I am poking WAY out and carrying low. With the girls I had little nausia, and the boy alot of nausia. But it is different with every women.

I had 2 boys and they were very different. With one I wasn't hungry a lot and didn't crave anything. With the second one I was hungry all the time and just wanted to eat anything and everything.

there is no sign of if it is a girl or boy except theres this cuban comment that if your stomach is perky up and round it is a girl while boys are ore oval but hey cuz wait a couple months and by the 4th month you can finally tell for sure.

No. There is nothing you can depend on.
All those who tell you they had a boy after eating pumpkin pie or a girl after walking around the block seven times each day are just telling you ridiculous anecdotes that predict nothing and change nothing.
