Pregnancy - September 2006

Hello, lol, ok so i am 15 1/2 weeks and when i was getting checked my dr. said that i was too skinny and she couldnt even tell i was pregnant, i am trying everything reasonable to gain weight, i sneak in a few snickers here and there, and now my dr. set a bar saying i had to gain 2 lbs. in the next two weeks, its been hard enuf to gan the 1/2 lb. i was so proud of, any ideas??? i really want to start looking prego.


and i have a feeling ( well the doppler proves it to) that my baby is low, but its heart rate is high, i get to see if its boi or girl in about a month...what so yall think??? ;)

i had a blood hcg level taken and it came out negative, but i still feel pregnant. is it possible to be pregnant and have negative urine and blood tests? im 1 month 2 weeks late. what should i do.

I am about 8 days post ovulation and I am having a weird feeling in my lower abdomen. Kind of sharp pains ,but not strong. 3 days ago I was having pain in my ovary. This morning I had extreme shortness of breath! Has anyone every had this?

I ALREADY HAVE A GYNO APPOINTMENT IN THE MORNING.

I am 38 weeks and 2 days and have had this pain (some of you may have read about it) that feels like my baby is cutting his way out with a knife on the top of my uterus. It has gotten to the point where I cant sit, stand, or even lay down to sleep! The mild Vicodin she gave me wont help and tylenol wont either. I called L&D and they said since it doesn't "sound" like I am in labor that they would probably just send me home. Why wont they even do an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok? I have read that placental abruption causes pain with or without bleeding. I know you guys are not doctors bu I just need to VENT! My fiancee said that if i decide to go in he will go with me and tell them to do an ultrsound or something. would that make me look bad or should I take his advice? I dont want them to think I just want drugs because I dont even like taking tylenol but It hurts SO bad. I just want to know everthing is ok?

Hey people my nipples hurt for 2weeks now today it's not that bad right now but they are alittle darker then before and also i didn get mine period yet. I was suppose to get it on the 14th but i didn get it yet and it's the 21th?i just would like to know what you people think thax!

I am staying home after I have the baby! I have told my boss this and she doesn't ant to hear it. I am ready to quit NOW... I am in alot of pain (and my huband says its okay)! How do I tell my boss since she din't wan to hear it before?

Ok with my last pregnacy i was fine and didnt have any mood swings nor the moring sickness. But it seems that this one i'm more bitchy then ever and here a good one guys seems to trigger it. But when i am around females all is fine now i know mood swings are normal but is it supposed to be this bad?

did you go into labor?

I lost mine today and I have a scheduled ceserean on Monday, I've got strong pelvic pains but really no contractions to worry about. I called the nurse last night about he pains but she said that I could probably wait till the contractions got worse.

But I lost it today, do you think I should go to the hospital and get checked to make sure I'm not too dilated?

I am 27 wks preg and am in two minds about breast feeding, although i want to part of me feels funny about it, in a toe curling way, i was unable to with my first child as i was on medication, should i be able to say a def yes or no? has anyone had this feeling and what did you do.

missed period 2 weeks late. i have only taken one pregnancy test it came out negative. i called my health clinic and they dont do blood test for pregnancy test. can i still have a normal temperature negative test results and still be pregnant? i am not on birth control and dont use protection with my husband and regular periods!!

i am just beginning my 4th month of pregnancy. I have always been a really petite girl, and although I can tell that I've gained like 10 lbs and so can my husband, no one else can really notice yet. My husband and I were visiting some of his moms friends and I am in a living room full of people I have never met before when his moms friend asks about my pregnancy. I tell her that I am 16 weeks pregnant. She replies, "Where... well you're gonna have a tiny baby". I defend myself, saying well I've already gained like 10 pounds, I've just always been really small. So my mother-in-law chimes in " Ya, she's gained some weight, she looked anorexic before". I was so embarrassed and humilliated I got up crying and went to the bathroom. I've never had an eating disorder I just have a fast metabolism. I just couldn't believe she said that, and in a room full of people I had just met. I couldn't stop crying and I told my husband to take me home. What would you do? Would u be offended?

I may have escaped the nausea (so far) but, at just over 5 weeks Im so bloated i look like hippo not to mention constipated and so flatunent that my partner has taken to attacking me with air freshner on a regular basis!! anyone else suffered this and what can i do to ease it?

I took a HPT yesterday am and it showed a dark pink line and a faint pink line, but the lines weren't close together! The directions say that the liines don't have to be the same color so I took it as a positive and they also say that the positive result will last for at least 48 hours and the test still reads the same! I went today to take another test to be sure and it said negative!! I have an appt today and I'm gonna try to get the blood work done and I have another appt next week to get the details if I am pregnant!! I've had the symptoms and my cycle is late!! Has this happened to anyone before?? If so, what were your results???

I heard that once you have your baby most couple get distant because they have no more "alone time" and that 49% of women lose thier sex drive at least for the first 6 to 12 months after giving brith is this true and why? It makes me way scared to have a baby i dont want to not be attracted to my husband anymore and have him not be attracted to me.... :-(

Um, I hear people talking about how their stomachs got hard and stuff...how soon does that happen...weeks wise?! Just curious. I may be pregnant and I would be 4 weeks, but my stomach is NOT hard at all, its normal...except for the little pouch closer to my vaginal area...its like Im bloated or something. No, its not b/c my period is coming or anything. Its a long story about that, I just want to know the answer to this one. I have gas soooo bad, I dont really know why either...is that normal if I am pregnant...oh and diarrhea too. SORRY TMI :-(
