Um, I hear people talking about how their stomachs got hard and stuff...how soon does that happen...weeks wise?! Just curious. I may be pregnant and I would be 4 weeks, but my stomach is NOT hard at all, its normal...except for the little pouch closer to my vaginal area...its like Im bloated or something. No, its not b/c my period is coming or anything. Its a long story about that, I just want to know the answer to this one. I have gas soooo bad, I dont really know why either...is that normal if I am pregnant...oh and diarrhea too. SORRY TMI :-(

And no Im not stressing about it, either way will be fine with me...so I dont know what's bringing on these things. Oh and its not phantom or nothing like that, i don't WANT a baby badly and Ive been living as though Im not pregnant, I know thats not cool, but I didnt want to trick my body into thinking that I was pregnant.

I had REALLY bad gas and diarrhea when I was pregnant (both times). Most people will tell you that you will be constipated through your pregnancy (my mom even bought me some laxitives when she found out), but everyone is different.

Don't worry too much about your stomach getting hard--the baby is about the size of the tip of a pen right now. Your stomach will probobly start to get hard around 2 1/2 to 3 months. If you start to worry then talk to your doctor and they will be able to answer any questions you might have. Good luck!

Well your uterus starts to come out of your pelvis around 12-13 weeks I believe. It's not "hard" like 24/7. I mean you can feel it but it doesn't feel like a rock or anything or this hard mass in your belly. Bloating is very common in early pregnancy..at 4 weeks that's all it is. Gas is common in pregnancy too but usually it takes about 6 weeks before you see any signs of pregnancy. It usually takes that long for the Hcg hormone to get high enough to cause signs and symptoms. A good site to check out is www.storknet.com. It gives you a week-by-week guide to pregnancy.

It depends on the person, everyone's different. But its usually at about 2 1/2 to 3 months. If you're not sure you're pregnant you should take a pregnancy test to be certain. Good luck to ya.

I am three months and there is hardening but only up to just before my belly button. I was eight weeks pregnant and didn't know it. i don't think that you get a hard stomach until 6 months or so at least.

different ppl show in different ways but you have to think that if you are only 4 wks along the baby wont be as big as a gum ball soooo you need to get an early pregnancy detector

Most likely your stomach will start to get hard when your like in your fourth, maybe fifth month if that. It differs for everyone.

with the symptoms you described it sounds more like a case of stomach flu rather than pregnancy
