It is normal to lose it for awhile...

I think your focous becomes your new baby.. you are tirred from being up at night, your body is different from being pregnant- some women feel like a mommy & not a lover... there are a lot of reasons.

it is something a couple works through together & gets through. We overcame it three times!

that is very true ""MOST WOMEN"" Not all 1st remember that. But as you are when I was pregnant I was worried about that after all though I've been with my husband 3 years we hadn't been married a year when finding out I was pregnant. What we did was made plans if either of us wasn't into in to make sex like a game and flirt and all that **** like we did when we 1st got together. However it didn't happen for us. when doctor gave us the ok after the 6 weeks we both was ready and our sex life is better now then it ever was before because we know that sex or making love can give you a wonderful thing a child that is the best gift from god in the world. Don't be scared to have kids. If you do loose your sex drive and nothing works for you. Ya can ask ya doctor for help. GOOD LUCK!

You don't really lose you sex drive, you just feel different about things and have different priorities. My husband and I found that after the baby was a few months old we would put baby to bed and turn the monitor on and have a romantic dinner or just rub each other down. Just remember that you need to allow time for just you. Weither it's a napp while baby is naping or a hot bath. But take at least 30 min. of just you time so that you will have in order to give back to your family. Because women who feel like they lost their sex drive tend to get no self time and then feel fully drained and don't want to give anthing back to their families.

Sometimes women do lose their sex drives but not all women do. And sometimes it just because you are so busy with the new baby and can't find time to have sex very often.

The reason for loss of sex drive has to do with hormones. Having a baby can make put your body through a lot of changes.

Some people do lose their sex drive, but not forever. It takes time and patience expecially with a new addition to the family. My son is almost 1 years old, and for us, we don't have sex as much as we did before. Its more like once every 2 weeks. Plus, I'm more insecure with my body after having a child because of weight gain. Don't worry, not all women lose it. And if they do, it takes time to become more active.

Everybody is different! Some people do find that they lose interest for awhile. For men, seeing their wife giving birth can put them off for awhile. Some men have difficulty seeing their wife as a woman and instead see her as a mother. For women, tired-ness plays a big role in the first few weeks/months. And in the first few weeks after a vaginal delivery you will be too sore to have much interest anyway. But things will get back to normal, especially if you are concerned and actively working to re-create that special relationship.

I don't know if you 'lose' your sex drive so much as it just shifts your priorities. You give up a lot of selfish behavior when you're a mother, but you give it up willingly, mostly. Once you're all healed up and the baby starts sleeping normally and YOU start sleeping normally, you'll have a sex life again. But once you're a mother EVERYTHING changes, not just the sex. That's life.

It has never happened to me. I'm the one that wants sex and he wouldn't give it to me. Pretty sad my husband was holding off. Even after 2 kids. I have never really known anybody that has lost their sex drive either. You get plenty of alone time when it's just a newborn. When you have other children it's hard though.

It's not that you're not attracted to your mate -- it's just you're so exhausted with the midnight feedings and changings, or you've got the baby sleeping in the bed with you, or you remember the twelve hours of trauma you went through to spit this one out, and your mind is thinking, "Never again!"

Luckily, the memories fade after a while....

Not everyone looses their sex drive. As for looking attractive to your husband If he has any since you will look more attractive since you brought life into the world created by BOTH of you.
