I lost mine a week ago in my 32 week and went to the doctor the next monday for a normal appointment. She said that I could still go up to my due date, so don't worry about it. If you have contractions that are 5 minutes apart, your water breaks, or you bleed more than a period, then go to the hospital asap. Good luck.

You have pressure and have lost your mucus plug. You are in the first phase of labor.
In a few short hours you will begin to have stronger contractions, and you will have a baby.
Congratulations! How exciting for you!
I had pelvic pressure for a full day not knowing I was in labor. At 2am I woke up to go to the bathroom and I realized I wet the bed... I was extremely embaressed, but I realized it kept coming out. My water had broke while I slept and I did not know.
In about 15 minutes, strong contractions started at 5 minutes apart, that is when I lost my plug. We rushed to the hospital and 7 hours later I had a beautiful baby boy.
... Go to the hospital when the contractions are 5 minutes apart for a full hour. If they come sooner than 5 minutes apart go anyway. If you go right now they will probably tell you to go home and come back when they are 5 minutes apart.

Hi!, I have two children born vaginally, Whatever makes you feel good do it. Your doctor should have no problem checking you out whenever you want to be checked out. However losing your mucous plug means your a week or two away from giving birth, in my experience anyway. Type it in to your search engine.
Also when I had strong pains standing in the shower with very hot water running over the site of the pain worked great. Why have you scheduled a Cesarean? are you late? if that's the case try this, there is a pressure point 4 fingers above your ankle bone(inside) press on it hard for 10 second intervals and your baby will come out tonight. My midwife called it African Pitocin.

I've heard you can go for a week or so after you lose the mucus plug. I'd go to the Dr. so they can see how dilated you are. If you're not having contractions at regular intervals, you're not in labor yet, but it doesn't hurt to check out what's going on. Good luck, you're almost there!

I lost mine and never went into labor on my own. I still had to be induced. I wouldn't worry too much about going to a hospital right now unless the contractions get worse or your water breaks.

I lost mine on a Friday. I was being induced on that Monday. I called the Doctor and they told me to take it easy over the weekend and if I felt I was going into serious labor call them back and head back over to the hospital. Needless to say I made it to Monday and had my doctor induce me. Good Luck and Congratulations.

2 weeks. The loss of the plug does not mean labor is right around the corner all the time. Why are you getting a C-section?

Yes. Go to the doctors. Typically once you lose your plug, labor is not too far behind.
Good Luck
