Many answers to that one! Orgasms can be much different during pregnancy. Some woman will finally become orgasmic during pregnancy due to the increased fluids in the area making the clitoris and vagina more sensitive. Other women will become multi-orgasmic for the first time.
In general, orgasms are very good for you and baby! When you have an orgasm the baby is unaware of what you are doing, but does experience the euphoric hormone rush that you will experience. There will also be minor contractions of the uterus, as there have always been, but now that the uterus is bigger you can feel them more. This is not preterm labor, unless you have this cramping sensation or contractions for more than one hour.
The big problem with orgasms during pregnancy is that, particularly at the end, you many not get quite the sense of relief that a normal orgasm would provide. I've personally walked away from sex feeling more sexually frustrated than before, despite multiple orgasms. Although, it's still worth it!

Omg!!! I want it all the time I feel like I can't get enough. My husband doesnt want it though and thats hard. I wish he wanted it as much as I did. My libido is is so high I have to play with my at least 3 times a day if I'm not getting any. I have to say this is my fist pregnancy and Ive been a very happy pregnant woman and my baby is super healthy so far at 36.5 weeks:)

It isn't true for all pregnant women. I had a few horny days in my first trimester, but since then it's not something I really want. Once it started to really hurt me (it doesn't hurt everyone) I just wanted to stop. My husband and I still do it 4-5 times a week because he finds me very attractive when I'm pregnant, go figure.

well I've found since being pregnant my hormones have been outrageous! LOL Plus my partner says that they found me even more desirable pregnant. But everyone is different because a girl friend of mine totally wasn't interested in sex while she was pregnant. So it hits all very different.

In my marriage I am like the man. Even before getting pregnant. So for me this is normal. I want it all the time. ETA: LOL thanks kornkrazed! It's funny cause my husband actually tells people he has a "no sex stick" hiding under the bed to beat me off of him cause I'm always wanting some.

its all the pregnant women--u will go thru faces----all the way until i was 3 months i always wanted some. ANd now i dont want it at all---im not in the mood--but someone told me i will get over my "not wanting' mood and my sex drive will come back. Sex is good specialy when u orgasm is like never b-4

As the woman gets later into pregnancy her hormones get crazier and wilder so that's why women are soo horny while pregnant..it's all hormones.

What women should realize during that period, which would go a long way toward them understanding men, is that how they feel during that period of pregnancy (if they experience it) is how men feel every single day.
I know my wife gained a healthy respect for my sex drive during that period. She was like "You have to deal with this all the time???"

HORMONES for sure... so YES being PREGNANT can trigger it all. When my period comes I'm usually at my HORNIEST... lol... it's weird... but yeah.. definately all them racing hormones that are going through changes....
