it depends on a lot of things.. with my first and only little boy I was in labor for 14 hours...But I had epiduarl ..the worst part was pushing...but I would say the avarage is about tht...Iti s not as bad as it sounds...just get the epidural~!

Everybody is different I was in labor for 3 to 4 hours with my first.

The Average Labor for your first child is 12-18 hours. Mine was 14 but i had complications. No matter how long it is. Good luck and i know you can handle it... if we couldn't god wouldn't have made women to give birth.

It varies for everyone. Not too sure I can agree with the weight opinion. I myself, am overweight and I didn't have long labors.
I had to endure only 6 hours of labor with my firstborn. Only 3 hours with my second.
That's from first contraction to delivery...most women don't get that lucky thin OR fat!!! lol

My labor was 10 hours and i pushed for about 30 minutes and my daughter was born. The labor was not very painful and even less painful once i got the epidural.

I heard it's longer the more weight you put on through your pregnancy. I put on 13kg and was in labor for 14 hours.

I think it depends. My mom had my sister (first born) in four hours. I had my son in seventeen.

It is different for every woman and for every labor.My 1st born was 3hrs 17mins,my 2nd born was 8hrs & my 3rd born was 5hrs!
