My Dr. said that due dates do not change because they estimate it from the date of your period. I would go by the Dr. and not the tech. Good luck

Due dates are ESTIMATES only and 3-5 % of births happen on the actual due date. So you can expect your baby from week 37 to week 42 ALL the range in normal in a full term baby. Your baby has little chance of being born on a due date i use a due MONTH I'm due December 27th. I just say December. My 1st was due April 28 came april 2ed. My 2ed march 10 came February 23rd. You should not be looking at that date as the day to expect. Be ready 4 anything after 36 weeks bags packed crib up exc.

The due date from the ultrasound is based on the size of the baby. I've been given three due dates so far, and I'm only 6 months along. If you're regular with your cycle, I'd use that date as a guide.

they go by the measurements they take in the ultrasound. If you were only 7 1/2 weeks before, everything was really small. I would go with the new date. They gave me a new date too when I went. My original date was 9/4, new date was 9/11, I had her on 9/17. She was a 10 pounder too!! Good luck, maybe you'll have a special gift for Christmas this year.

Been there, very frustrating to constantly get a different date. In my case I got so frustrated that I ended up getting 3 opinions and basically the rule is that earlier ultrasounds are more accorate as babies go through all sorts of grow spurts making the due date flactuate, in your case I would stick with the first date, i.e December 14th. Having a x-mass baby would be nice though:) Good luck with the rest of your pregancy.

Due dates do change. Everytime you go back to see the dr ask him to check. Stick with the one he told you the last time as that is probably the most accurate. At the end of the day babies don't know due dates and they come when they are ready. Due dates are only a guide line. Both my girls came 8 & 10 days early. GOOD LUCK

Babies go through growth spurts and some measure bigger or smaller on the ultrasound. I wouldn't stress too much, due dates change all the time. With my first her due date was April 25th for the longest time, when I had my final u/s they said it was the 19th, and she came on the 18th. Due dates are approximate at best. Keep your calendar open from the beginning of Dec. to the end! :) Good luck to you!

Wait until you have your 28 week ultrasound, that one is usually the most accurate and the doctor will usually go by whatever the technician says because it's her job to find those things out. They take the pictures of the organs and the baby so that the machine can come up with a guesstimated weight and height and the machine doesn't lie.

My due date was also thrown off by ultrasound. I am due March 11th, but it kept saying March 21st. With my last ultrasound, it was off by only a few days. I told my doctor the date of my last period and that I'm very regular and when I felt ovulation. So now my due date is back to March 11th. And with my first one, I was due 4/24/03 according to my doctor, but an ultrasound done in the lab said 4/19/03. My son was born 4/29/03. Talk to your doctor about this, and see if you can go by the date of your last period.

The 40 weeks extremely includes your final era, so counting back out of your due date to once you conceived (you concieve approximately 2 weeks after your era) might in user-friendly terms be 38 weeks. Going with the aid of the 40 week count type, confident you have been 2 weeks pregnant on 12/25, you're seen 2 weeks pregnant on the time you conceive that's why you're 4 weeks pregnant once you will discover out even although the child is extremely in user-friendly terms 2 weeks old at that factor. with a bit of luck i did no longer in simple terms confuse you greater :)
