I am 6 months along and quit cold turkey as soon as I found out I was prego. But I've been a smoker for 10 years and I am afraid that getting stressed out is just as bad for me as smoking! I mean, my blood pressure is sky rocketing! Any suggestions on what to do?

I have not had my periods for 4 months. I have had a home test, but came back negative. My stomach has gone all hard as well. Has anyone else done a test and it has come back negative, but really they were???? or is it that im just not pregnant???? Very confusing!!!!!

I want to be childfree by choice for rest of my life. I am 23, boy and have never indulged in sex. I am not interested vasectomy. Pills and condom are effective but in case if my girls misses even one pill, unwanted pregnancy can happen.

My main question: Not doing sex is 100% effective. Can i live without sex for rest of my life specially when i have never experienced it ?

Anyone had a negative test about 2 weeks after possible conception and then turned out to be pregnant on the First Response Test? I could not wait to miss a period as im on the pill and take 3 packs in a row like a few other people on here. Im still getting symptoms and its over 4 weeks now since sex.

How high up in early pregnancy have you had back pain? Im getting it as high as where you get heartburn but obviously at the back - just the odd twinge here and there. Also getting side pain on both sides again twinge and stitch like pain. Anyone else the same?

Ok so one of my friends is really scared cause i talked with her tonight. She said she might be pregnant or atleast shes freaking herself out about it. Shes been on the pill for a long time.. went off the pill.. and was on it for 2 day when the last time something "happend" between them. There was no condom used but she said he always was sure that he pulled out. She was talking to her mom and her mom says that being hungry and sleepy and tenderness of the breasts is a sign.

Well number 1 the tenderness of the breasts is a side effect she gets often from it she says.

She freaked out about it and is feeling very tired and hungery.. more so than normal.

I honestly think shes freaking herself out and that there isnt a very good chance that she is and shes really scared.. so scared that she will make the right decition next time.

Please help with advice. Thanks so much!

Ive read that you should contact your Dr. immediately if you have a sudden weight gain during pregnancy, I am almost 39 weeks pregnant and in about 24 hours I have gained 3 pounds, I dont like to contact my Dr. unless I really feel I have an emergency and I am just not sure with this one, I just dont want to overreact, does anyone know if this is normal weight gain?

I have learned that one could only get pregnant during ovulation, which is about 14 days from the first day of period. In other words, it is pretty much safe to have unprotected sex 7 days after and 7 days before a period. To be safer, 3 days before and 3 days after. Is this true? Or even within the 3 days it's possible? Thanks!

Of course the chair would need to have room for the baby to come out. But wouldn't sitting up make it easier for the woman to push and wouldn't gravity help the baby come out? It seems more logical this way.

i miscarried at 6 weeks on July 28th, my hcg levels were tested on Aug 1st, and were quickly very low(hcg was 9). I believe i ovulated between Aug 7th or 8th. Is that possible? to ovulate and concieve that soon after a miscarriage? if so are there any high risks associated with not waiting a complete cycle?
