When my friend was pregnant, her two year old kept patting her tummy and saying baby. I know you are thinking, "Welll duh...even a two year old should be able to figure that a beachball belly contains a baby, but this was happening before my friend knew she was pregnant. In fact, it was what prompted her to get a home pregnancy test.

So I think that it is very possible for kids to sense things that we adults are too distracted and busy to notice.

Yeah I think children have an innate sense of their mother being pregnant but do not understand the full implications of it. We recently had a child and our eldest, who's nearly two, used to rub my partners belly as if he knew there was someone in there. Hard to tell really.

About your symptoms, see a doctor. And eat as much chocolate as you want.

Yes, I thought my first born knew I was pregnant. That's what made me take the test :) When I asked my OB about it, he said that children are very perceptive and my son probably noticed a change in my scent. While he might not have know that I was pregnant he knew there was something different about his mama

Are you for sure pregnant? If you are, you need to see your doctor right away if you are bleeding/spotting.

Yes, I'm sure your daughter can pick up that you are pregnant. She may notice you and your husband/boyfriend acting differently, or talking in hushed tones, and she may notice that you are tired more. She may not know you are pregnant, but she may know something is up.

The only sure sign you are pregnant is a positive test! You should take one because it would be fun to find out if your daughter's behavior could be attributed to that...that'd be an interesting thing to know.

I am not sure. My cat REALLY knew that I was pregnant. She became more protective and loving towards me. So you 3 year old might be able to tell.

Childeren can pick up on any small changes, he won't know you are pregnant but he may know something is up, especially from your change of character, as for being pregnant try doing a test.
