I have not had my periods for 4 months. I have had a home test, but came back negative. My stomach has gone all hard as well. Has anyone else done a test and it has come back negative, but really they were???? or is it that im just not pregnant???? Very confusing!!!!!

You should go have blood work done. It sounds to be like you're a teenager, or barely past those years, which means that your body will skip, shorten, lengthen, double your periods from time to time without any real cause. It'll do this throughout your life, but its much more common in your teen years.
It does happen that the home tests dont work for some women. Although its not very common, but some women just do not produce a high level of the human growth hormone, and require blood testing instead.
Go to your local doctor and reqest blood testing to be sure. THey will make you take a pee test and then try to tell you not to do the blood work, but you will have to insist on it.
More likely than not you're just skipping your periods. I skipped once for 9 months when i was 17. For no good reason. my body sorted itself out all on its own. :)

If your period has been late for more than 4 months and just recently took a test that showed up as negative, either you're really NOT pregnant or the test was just screwed up. Try doing another test, if still negative, then go to a doctor.
If you've gained a lot of weight, that could be why you've been missing your period. That happened to me before. The doctor prescribed me a medicine that made me have my period in less than a week. It became regular again after that

Go to your doctor and have blood test done to make sure that you are or not that is the BEST way! Sometimes are body plays tricks on us ESPECIALLY when you are stressed out so relax that could be one of your problems of the 4 months. IF your blood then comes back positive then you should just come out and tell your ex because what is done is already done there is no turning back now! GOOD LUCK

go to a dr we cannot diagnose over a computer and we shouldnt we are not doctors .whether you are or not needs to be addressed because if you are not there may be something wrong . if you are you should be able to feel some movement by now and your belly should be getting the preganant loook around now .the hard belly does not nessasarily mean pregnant .something is up i would think and you should go to the drs to find out.seek medical attention and find out if you are get to the drs on a regular basis to make sure your baby and you are healthyusually home tests are pretty accurate but a blood test would be best. hope this helps and good luck

go to the doc (obgyn) or local health deportment have and blood test done. some women don't have the hormone in there pee. make shore you tell them you have had you period in 4 months and your stomach has getting hard. if the blood test comes back - also something is wrong they may do some other blood work also and ultra sound to see what going on. it not normal to go that long with out and period.
good luck wish you the best.
please see and doc right away.

Did you take more than one test? Sometime you can take a test and it will not work right. Sometimes you can take a test and there will not be enough hormone in it to detect a pregnancy. I would see a doctor and have him do a test to see if you are pregnant or not. Blood tests are usually better for this kind of stuff.

Go to a doctor. I would never have waited 4 months without getting my period to call a doctor.

proably not...your test defiently would of came back postive..it's a big downer i know i hate to be the only one who doesnt agree that you are...but ....i havent had a period in 6 months all my test's were negative....if you've ever had the depo shot even if it was well over a year ago it can cause it to be late even if you've had your regular cycles
