i think i might be pregnant and even though im young and he's younger i kind of want to be. im eating but it makes me feel like vomiting for a few hours after, the smell of food mankes me gag! its only been 3 days since i had sex but i dont know if this could be the start or if its just wishful thinking!

A positive result means only that I carry the bacteria — not that you or your baby will definitely become ill. In fact, if you were GBS positive and didn't get treatment, your baby would have only about a one or two in 200 chance of becoming infected. However, by getting treated with antibiotics during labor, you reduce your baby's chance of getting the infection even further — to about one in 4,000. You also reduce your own chance of developing a GBS infection during labor, as can sometimes happen. The only case in which you wouldn't need the antibiotics is if you have a planned cesarean section that happens before your water breaks or you go into labor.
I AM VERY CONCERNED! i don't want anything bad to happen to me or my baby...........................any suggestions??????

I have had one stillborn and one miscarriage and am wanting to try again..I was wondering what are the chances of actually having a baby here on earth..
My son was stillborn due to a "cord accident" and my miscarriage I was only 9 weeks along..
Any success stories?

I'm so happy that today I went to get my first ultrasound and heard the most beautiful sound in the whole world, the beating of my baby's heart :-) Anyway, the doctor couldn't see the baby yet, said it was still too small to see. Is this normal? How can you get the heartbeat and not the image of the baby?

I have a mother in law that moved to WA 5 years ago, she has only contacts us when she wants something she hasnt even called to tell him happy birthday once since I have been in the picture 5 years ago. I am currently 3 and half months pregnant and I want nothing to do with her, she lies and is a manipulater and drinks heavily and does drugs, I dont want her near our child. My husband supports me and leaves it up to me bc he cant stand her either. Well she is now 5 months preg and doesnt know if it is her husbands or the boyfriends.

The thing is is I want nothing to do with her or anywhere near my husband or our child. She drinks smokes and does drugs while she is preg!!!! I feel horrible for having caffine once in awhile. Well she moved back here a week ago and is in town now, she hasnt stopped by yet but I know she will. Does anyone have adviced on how I should handle this? What do I tell her if she shows up? All his family and my family are behind my decision..Shes pushy though.

I didn't have my period for a year. My doctor then gave me some birth control pills to balance my hormones this past April of 2006. I than got my period on the 1st- 7th of May. It was really heavy. And than on June I got it on the 1st-7th again once again it was normal. it was pretty normal. But I got my period again in June on the 15th-22nd. I stopped taking my pills mid june though. and my husband and I at that time were having sex about 6 times a week. unless I had my period until July 5. and now I haven't gotten my period. I'm always feeling tired and i urinate more than i usually do and i get dizzy. so can I be pregnant?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and I want to die! Are these last weeks going to be the longest? And how much weight do you usually gain the last few weeks? I feel like my stomache can't stretch anymore, I feel like there is absolutely no more room for her to move around. I am so anxious about seeing her that I can't concentrate on anything else. I just wonder if these last 5 weeks will be the hardest part of my pregnancy, what do you think?

My grandmother passed away today and i need to go to illinois this week. Which is a 6 hour trip. I'm already dilated to 1cm but could stay like that for a while. This is my second child and i had my first within 7 hours of starting labor. They say i could go fast this time. If i dont go and dont go in labor than i will regret it. But if i go and start labor i will be upset if my mother in law isnt there either. What should i do? some advice please?

I'm 37 weeks pregnant with my first child, and I don't go to the doc again until Friday (if I make it that far). I think that it was yesterday that I began feeling extreme pressure in my lower abdomen-especially when I walk around. I feel like I can barely walk! I also have a sharp pain that feels like exactly where I think my cervix is. The pain also travels through to my lower back. My mother and my husband both noticed today that the baby looks like she may have dropped. The last time I was checked, I was 50% effaced and dialated 1 cm. I've been dialated at 1cm for about 3 weeks now. Could this sharp pain be ripening of the cervix? Is my time near? Contractions started early this morning, and have continued irregularly for the rest of the day. I feel like I've been pregnant for years!

Bottom line, most of these questions are stupid. However, sometimes people need to talk because they are scared or don't feel that there is anyone else out there. Some want reasurrance, some want to know if others have had similar experiences. Not everybody on this forum is under the age of 18 either. I am 32 weeks along, normal size normal weight, every time someone asks my due date, they then ask if I am having twins or tell me my baby will be huge how do I tell them you do not ever say that to someone? here's the kicker, I am a retail manager and cannot be rude to ANYONE!!! I'm not due until August 21 and my doctor said I could be educed anytime after August 10. I'm torn I'm ready to have her but I'm worried about being educed. What should I do?
