my water broke with my daughter while I was asleep..I thought I was having an accident, and when I jumped up, I tried to stop it, you know what I mean?Only it didn't stop..I NEVER had any contractions until my Dr gave me pitocin, only I waited to go to the Dr about 9hrs after it broke..I really thought I had peed myself,or had just become incontinent, I was after all almost 9 months pregnant.I called him and he said to come in and he would check me, sure enough, it was broke..
If you find that you think your water has broken, it will smell bleachy, and may even have meconium in it and may look kinda green..Mine had the bleachy smell....Gee, I hope it doesnt happen that way this time!

I was laying on the couch watching t.v, got one mother of a contraction, just breathed my way through it, felt like something was leaking from "down there" and then I slowly rolled off the couch and when I stood up "WOOOOSH!", I'm serious, my pants were soaked!..haha ( it was a warm feeling, and pressure release!,lol)
I stood there frozen with my legs crossed, i dunno, guess automatic response, but then I clued in and remembered it's not pee, standing there doing the "pee dance" wasn't going to make it stop, so I'd better get to the bathroom and change, then head to the e.r, lmao
also too when you pee and you can't stop, you know it's" water", because some women trickle a bit before it actually "breaks" and leaks majorly, and most women notice it when they are on the toilet.

These are my exact words "I don't know what just happend but something just snapped" and before I could get the sentence out I felt the warm water coming out. And it didn't hurt either. Kind of like somone snapping there fingers inside.

Feels like you have peed in your pants!! You have no control over it, the water bag breaks and it goes everywhere!!

The OB broke my water, and it was warm - it does feel like you have wet your pants, though.

you will feel water dripping down your legs it really depend where you are at if it breaks you could be peeing and not know it

U will fill alot of presser before it breaks, When it does it will fill like u just peed ed your pants.

really it just feels wet. kind of like you're peeing but without the pressure. there may be less fluid when you're standing because the baby's head will block it.
