I am 35 weeks pregnant and I want to die! Are these last weeks going to be the longest? And how much weight do you usually gain the last few weeks? I feel like my stomache can't stretch anymore, I feel like there is absolutely no more room for her to move around. I am so anxious about seeing her that I can't concentrate on anything else. I just wonder if these last 5 weeks will be the hardest part of my pregnancy, what do you think?

This is my first pregnancy and I'm at 37 weeks now. These last weeks are definately the hardest. The baby is ripe and all, and would be fine if she were born now. We just have to play the waiting game. My husband is so anxious. . .he wants me to walk around all the time now. (Today, he was rubbing my enormous belly and said, "You're so freakin' beautiful." I thought I was gonna cry.) Anyway, I'm constantly thinking, and hoping, that I'm going into labor. I want to hold my baby girl. We've been waiting sooo long. I know how you feel. Getting down to that last week feels like it'll take FOREVER! But, heck, you've already waited 35 weeks, what's another 5, right?! Good luck. I'm hoping to go into labor tonight or tomorrow! (Remember, semen ripens the cervix, and orgasms bring on contractions. Have fun!)

I agree with you, the last few weeks are horrible. Especially in the summer...Have you hit your nesting stage yet?? You want to organize everything, clean, change the room around. This usually happens about 2-3 weeks before you have the baby. Just remember, the end is near and it will go by fast. Sleep as much as you can and drink alot of water so you stay hydrated. Good luck in passing the time away.

I have 3 kids, and yes, the last few weeks were always the worst. You are so anxious by then and want to meet your baby that its very hard. And it can be uncomfortable. The weight gain should be minimal, at least for me, I don't think I really gained the last few weeks. I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, but I wanted to give you an honest opinion. Just hang in there...it will all be worth it when you finally meet your baby!

Sorry to say, but yes, the last part of pregnancy is the hardest. Your body has reached it's limit and so has your psyche. It is totally normal to feel this way. Try to find things to keep your mind off things. I know it's hard! To ease your body pains soak in a tub with Epsom salt and have your partner give you massages, try to remind yourself that it is almost over. Good Luck with the last few weeks, and Hope you have a healthy and safe delivery!!!

I was 4 weeks overdue, and enormous ( my son was 9.5 lbs ) everyone just looked at me with huge eyes and asked " God you must be ready to get that baby out of you" I would always calmly reply, nope.... as long as it's in here, I don't have to do anything and can sleep as much as I want - in all honesty, I have a major fear of hospitals, went into labor right on my due date, and still held on for an entire month, enjoying how wild it felt when he had the hiccups, or how I could lay on one side, feel him settle in, then flip, and so would he, you can have plenty of fun with your little girl while she's still in there, get your cleaning and what not done, time will be of the essence once she's born, and after all that time, you're body certainly feels empty with out that baby in there anymore.... embrace every second of it.

My children are all in there 20's now. My mom still remembers me calling her and saying , "I am going to be pregnant for the rest of my life", when I was towards the end of my pregnancy's.

After you child is born you are so busy you will hardly remember being so anxious. But someday you will tell your child that you were so done being pregnant, that you actually put it on Yahoo answers

Actually the last 2 weeks are the hardest part! Especially when she kicks your ribs! Hang in there! You'll make it! And when you see your new little soul in your arms. . . . it was worth every second!

you should gain a couple pounds per week during your last month but don't worry, it will be over before you know it and it will be soooooo worth it :-D
