I am 14 weeks pregnant, and tonight i started having some bleeding. It was darker blood, not bright red. i am not having any cramping. But the bleeding stopped after a little while. I called the doctor to make an appointment for tomorrow...

Has anyone had this happen??? Could I still have a miscarriage even after 14 weeks??

My husband has a friend, who's wife can't carry a baby, due to serious health problems. They are looking into getting a surrogate mother, but my husbands friend, said that it would'nt be his and his wife's baby, it would be the person carrying it. I tried to tell him that it would be theirs because it will be his sperm and her egg, implanted in her uterus, but he won't listen. He also does'nt like the fact, that the baby, will have the surrogate mother's blood running through it's veins. I told him that I was going to show him all of the answers, regarding this question, so that he will believe what i'm telling him. People please tell him what a surrogate mother is, thanks.

When it comes to pregnancy, which is a healthy, natural, physiological event, the practice of medicine is not the best approach UNLESS you have a medical issue.... Tell me why so many people write "if your doctor says so", or, have faith in your doctor", or "doctor knows best". Its time to consider Doctors cunsultants within medical expertise - and consult with them as such. Pregnancy is not, in and of itself, a medical event! Consult with a midwife- she knows birth is natural and can educate women about it- she can empower you to be your best practitioner!

I'm 19 and my boyfriend is 23. We have been together for about 9 months. We both really love each other alot. Since I have been going out with him he has always mentioned how he would like to have about 6 kids. Well he all ready has a daughter named Tara. She's about 1 yrs old. I must admit that he takes good care of her. He buys her things and he also picks her up about 4 days out of the week . Lately he has been bringing up the idea of me geting pregant by him. I'm not ready to have a child right now because I'm in college and I would like to get married and settled down first before I even have kids. I've told him before that i dont want any kids right now and I dont plan on having any unitl about 5 more years down the road. How could I possibly get this threw his head that I dont want kids right now without hurting his feelings!! Someone please help? What would you do in this situaion? Has this ever happened to you?

I had sex with my gf 3 weeks ago and she was already 2-3 weeks late from her period. (that means her period is a month and 2-3 weeks late... and i shoud be expecting a period from her soon) She has irregular periods. We are trying to not get a baby. We had unprotected sex and i pulled out. I know there is a chance of pregnancy and we are planning to get the pregnancy test.. is it the right time? and what should be the symptoms of pregnancy for her at this time period? Should the man have to pay for child support if the couple took all possible measures not to get pregnant. They used condoms, birth control and other methods, yet she still got pregnant. The discussed pregnancy earlier and in the even that she got pregnant they BOTH agreed that she would have an abortion. But after she gets pregnant she decides to keep the baby. Should the man have to pay child support?

Does anyone no of anyone who has a birth defect (physical, mental, etc) because their mother drank while pregnant and was it proven that the alcohol is what caused the birth defect? FYI.... I'm not pregnant, didn't drink during my pregnancy and don't plan on having more children. I am just curious!!

well it was 32 weeks wen i went into preterm labour twice that week they manged to stop by medication and i was in hopsital 4 a week just got back i could go into labour any time now i have Dilated yet but im 50% softneed up so what does that mean and its a waiting game as he could come any day now im 33 weeks

the same color as the lines on the test? or are they a different color? because i took a test one day and i saw a horizontal line (very clear blue) and then i saw a very very thin BLUE line. it was as thin as a thread.

i had to wait approx 3 minutes for the results to show, but then 2 minutes later, the other line showed up.

I have my last menstartion last March 21,2006, My pregancy test resulted negative last May 16,2006, However, last June 09,2006 my pregnancy result was positive. I dont known the counting of my pregnancy.

So you guys are my comfort area right now. So i have to ask this..how in the heck do i deal with my jealous cousin? She is really jealous that im pregnant and shes not..she wants a baby really bad, and shes mad because im pregnant..and shes not because i guess she has been trying with guys. The thing about her is she goes both ways(so to speak) and she likes ATTENTION really bad. We had a family bbq today, and like she wanted the attention really bad..everytime someone would ask my boyfriend and i a question about our baby or what we were going to name it or anything at all to our baby, she would blurt something out like ''I know when i have a baby..blah blah blah'' its pisses me off, and i dont know what to do?!?!

i am 20 weeks pregnant and i find out what i am having tomorrow and we are fighting over names he wants to name the baby elliot and i was being honest with him and told him that i really did not like that name well then he had the nerve to tell me if the babys name is not that he is going to break up with me and leave and i told him he should just calm down cause we don't know what it is yet then he said if it's not a boy and it's a girl he will be mad and not talk to me what do you guys think i should do thanks!
