Wow! feels like I haven't been on here in forever! We just found out we are expecting!! I am so happy. (We just had a m/c in May) It is too soon to know the sex of the baby. We have a few favorite names. I love Rory Madison. I also love Jenson (girl) He like Mercedes. We like Tripp Jordan or tripp Jared and Cash Jonathan. What do you think? Do you have any favorite suggestions?

P.S. We like unsual but not crazy. We have a little guy 22 months old names Brody William. It has to sound good with his name, of course. Thanks you all!

I am debating on what to name my baby girl. I have Spanish names that are unusual. I too have an unusual name and many people love it and many don't. It is Lluvia which means "rain" in Spanish. I have learned to deal w/the surprise and sometimes amazement when i am introduced or say my name. So, i know what it is like to have an unusual name.
The names that i have are:

Itzel
Azul
Aryana
Cielo

Maybe i should stick to common names w/weird spellings?
Any suggestions?

Some perfectly good names, such as Madison and Jordan, have been ruined by the trendoid spelling travesties some parents have been inflicting on their children. New rules:

*The letters "y" and "i" are not always interchangeable, as in "Bryttani." Furthermore, not every vowel is replaceable by "y", as in "Stephynie."

*Not every Celtic or Celtic-sounding name merits "-eigh" in place of "(e)y" or "ie." Names like "Ryliegh" or "Leigh-Anna" do nothing to celebrate your Irish or Scottish heritage. Try a real Celtic spelling, like "Maeve" or even the common "Sean."

*Don't use "eye dialect," such as "Anfoni" for "Anthony." It makes you look ignorant. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_dialect.

*Don't omit schwa vowels, as in "Jaydn." And don't add superfluous silent or double letters, as in "Jhaemmessone." (Translation: Jameson.)

Babies have to live with that name for the rest of their lives. Just think of how "Maddussynne" or "Jhawrdn" will look on your kid's Harvard application

My sister's having twins and has asked us to help her with names. Does anyone have any ideas?

I like the boy's names:
-Conlin
-Finn

And the girl's names:
-Cleo
-Kesse [pronounced Kissy]

Do you like these? Are there any names you really like?

I also need middle names too. And nothing too plain or common!

Thanks!
