i dont want want any names like Taxiana or anything like that though.

I'm having twins-one boy plus one girl :)
I'm considering the name Bellatrix Arianne for a girl, the the mame Jacoby for a boy. I need a middle name for Jacoby and your opinions on the girl's name.
Arianne- pronouced a-ree-anne (long a) NOT are-ree-anne
Jacoby- pronouced ja-col-bee NOT jacob-bee or jacob-by

My son is due to be born in a week. I am considering the name 'Phlegm Wretch Boil-pus'. My wife thinks it's a bit out there, but we do like to be different.

Me and the father aren't together. He says he's going to be there for the baby no matter what... If it's his(That statement makes me mad). And if he hasn't really been here for me this whole time, why should I give him his last name? But....... I love his family and I know that he will be there for his baby because he was raised right and knows better. But then again I feel like I carried this baby for nine months and I went through all the hard times by myself for my baby. And he was never here for me. And I'm going to be the one having this baby. So I don't know. If my baby is going to be with me most of the time, he should have my name too, right? So what would you do? Father's last name? Mother's last name? Or father's then mother's? Or mother's then father's?

I was reading the paper at work a couple months ago and I saw one that I thought took the cake.

Corazon de Jesus (this was all just the first name) III. Parents were Corazon de Jesus Jr and Maria de Jesus (these again were just first names). It seemed a bit odd that the mother's first name was so similar when I doubt she was related to her husband's family other than by marriage. I understand that Hispanic families are traditionally Catholic but I had never seen anything like that before.

My first cousin named her daughter Maykayla which is a beautiful name, but if I name my daughter Myla is it too close to her child's name?? I asked my cousin about it and she doesn't seem to mind, I guess I am just worried what other people will think of it. Ok, so my husband and I are trying to come up with boys names and have had a tough time. He is not here right now, due to military reasons so that makes it even harder. Basically, I want to come up with a list to send him and he can send back what he likes. We are thinking some variation of family names, or maybe another nae, but add a family name as a middle name. For family names we have:
Chadwick
Wade
Ryan
William
Shawn or Sean
Daniel
Donald

and I also like a few others Like Mason and Owen.

We don't want anything to popular or trendy right now. Oh and the last name is Carter if that helps to put names in order. We still have 4 months or so to come up with a name, but we are kind of anxious to figure it out now. Thanks for the help!

I love to ask these name questions so here's another!




I love to write and I have a bunch of stories where I used a bunch of different names.

I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with a name now. Like, I have ideas but they're all names I've used in old stories and for each one I love to get different names.

I actually got a few ideas from friends. The character I need a name for is a female.

The suggestions I got from friends were:

-To name them what I'd name my kid if I had one
-To use my name

Well I don't wanna name my character one of the name's I'd love to name a kid. That's *****.

I don't like my own name so I don't think I'm going to go with that. BTW my name is Topanga Joe.

So, do you see why those are out?



I love feminine names with mascualine nicknames. Like the name Jayla can be shortened to Jay, but I'm open to anything. I just want something that's pretty unique.

Any ideas?
