I have a baby daughter ad I have yet to name her, but Bayla is a nice name. What do you think?

Bayla is okay. It's unique and original and I've heard many worse unique names.
I think it's cute and adorable, better than the super common Kayla.
I like the variation and I think you should go with it.

It sounds pretty, but I don't know... I'm kind of torn on it. I think I'd like the name Bailey, spelled like that, better. The more I say Bayla out loud, the more it sounds like it should be Kaila or Laila. What about those two instead? Or even Lilah, which kind of has the same natural, girl-y feel of Bayla. Lilah Bailey or Bailey Lilah would be a really cute name. But it's still your choice only - just make sure whatever you name her, you won't regret it in a couple years. Try imagining how her name will be said in full during her high school graduation, for instance. Do you think it will still sound good?

Anyway, best of luck and congrats on the new baby girl!

I like Bayla. I think it's pretty and original. But yet it's not like "omg that name's so weird why would they do that?!" Kayla is so common and Bailey makes me think of a fat girl- no offense to any Baileys, I just know a girl. I think it would be cute with a short middle name like Bayla Jade, or Bayla Kayne. Or even a long middle name would work (longer than 2 syllables) Of course, that's up to you. But I like Bayla :)

Could also try:
Bailey
Kayla
Brailey
Kailey
Calli
Jayla
Jada

I thought Bayla was a boy's name. Also you should think about when she's school age and they have all those cute pencils and door plates and stuff with childrens name on it. You will never find a Bayla and that's sad. I mispelled my son's name by one letter and can't find anything with his name on it.
