Baby Names - November 2007

I've just been wondering for a while--What do people think of my name? It's Misty Dawn--my family calls me Misty Dawn but everyone else just calls me Misty. I've always liked it, but I'm not sure if other people do! Not that I care, I still like it cuz it's what my momma gave me! :-) I'm just wondering. Thanks!!

I just found out that I am pregnant with my third (and last) child. I have two girls now, but do not know the sex of my unborn child. im due next month. im really leaning towards the name Imani.
its swahili and means faith and no its not a made up syllable blah blah blah ghetto name! oh and yes my baby is half black. lol. people always have something negative to say. so please take your negativity somewhere else. and im not looking for those like mary sara sue kinda names. something just as unique as the first name.

Okay, well I am delivering a baby girl in about 1 week. My boyfriend and I have chosen the name for her and she will be Melanie Rose Jeanene Smitch. But, I want to give her a nickname to, so let me know if this nickname makes sense or if you like it. If you have any other ideas let me know. Since her first name is Melanie Rose, we were thinking of the name Melrose.

I was always rather unhappy with my first name and have always wanted to change it, now that i am going to do so i've hit a crossroad and i'm stuck with which name to choose. Im naming my girl Esia. Do you like it.

READ BEFORE ANSWERING;
Its pronounced eh-see-ah,the strongest part of the name is the SEE in the middle not & I repeat not the E at the beginning so dumbo's stop saying it sounds like easy.Also it's not remotely trashy..names like Candybell or Ferrari are!Its not a variation of Asia..I made this name up, all names were! Im not using the horrible current trend of taking original names & being Kreeaytyff with their spelling.If you still dont like the name give a good side to your argument or why answer?

I just recently found out I'm having a girl, I was expecting it to be another boy. My sons name is Braxton Jacob, so I wanted to keep it similar to that, the only girl name that I like thats "Br.." is Brettlynn and call her Brett. I want to keep the "J" but its up in the air at the moment. I like Brettlynn Camille and Brettlynn Jade... but Im not for sure. Any other suggestions would be great.. also another guestion, this baby will be taking my last name, so if I went with "J" for a middle name.. it would be BJN for intails... think kids will later be dirty and make fun of it? My sons initials are BJT so it wasn't a problem that I had to deal with.

Esia; pronounced eh-çee-ah...what im naming my girl.

Reneya; pronounced ren-ay-ah.

Tenzin; instead of tamsin

Anavrin; nirvana spelled back..instad of the love it or hate it
nevaeh.

Tainara.

Tazmin; insted of Jasmin

& Roxiana instead of roxanne
