Esia; pronounced eh-çee-ah...what im naming my girl.

Reneya; pronounced ren-ay-ah.

Tenzin; instead of tamsin

Anavrin; nirvana spelled back..instad of the love it or hate it
nevaeh.

Tainara.

Tazmin; insted of Jasmin

& Roxiana instead of roxanne

what do u think of them? would u consider these for your kids.

I really like Esia! It's unique without sounding really made up (I know it is made up, but it doesn't sound like it has been).

Reneya and Tenzin are ok, just not really my style.

I don't really like Anavrin much - although I do agree that it's better than Nevaeh!

Tainara and Roxiana are both pretty (neither of these sound made up either).

Tazmin is really cute!

I don't think that people would pronounce these names wrongly either - something traditional like Evangeline would probably have more people not knowing how to say it (Ev -ann-je-line, ev-ann-je-lyn, ev-ann-je-leen, or if you were really unlucky ev-ann-gel-leen!).

Hope that helped.

I think the names you invented are pleasant sounding. However, as a teacher, when I get rosters every fall I get some names which are difficult for me to figure out, and sometimes a child is upset if you do do not pronounce it correctly. If I can contact the parents beforehand, it is helpful, but occasionally a parent is offended if you cannot pronounce his or her child's name the way they want it pronounced. Giving a child a name that is somewhat familiar also avoids the necessity of someone asking, "Ah...how do you spell that?" Children run into enough difficult situations without adding this one. You might give a child a name you love which is not easy to pronounce, so have the option of having him or her use a middle name in social situations.

i read an article like 3 years ago regarding "Made up names", more specifically made up "real names" like people who name their kid Phaul instead of Paul, VinSent instead of Vincent, Jazzmin instead of Jasmin.
In the study they found that people with made up names had a ttendency not to be as successful as their real name counterparts.
I think unusual names is a better way to go. Made up names sound too trendy sometimes.

No offense but I do not like them. I would not name my kids any of these names. Also, If my parents would have named me any of these names I would not be very thankful for it. Look for something unique but that it does exist.

I would consider Renaya personally. And I know a little boy with the name Tazmin so I don't think you got the honour of making that one up, sorry!

I would not use that at all!!!! Are you serious?

EASYA???? she will be picked in school. Imagine in high school THE EASY GIRL the one that gives it away easily!!!

DON'T DO THAT to your child and reconsider. What's the point in inventing a unique name? what makes a person unique is the education and skills, not a trashy name or one that seems to be spelled wrong. They are all horrible. Sorry but that is my oppinion.
Poor child.

I wouldn't consider any of these for my children because I have my names already chosen. In addition, they aren't my style.

I like Roxiana and Esia (have you thought of the spelling Esiah or Esijah?)
I know some names similar to Esia that I will share with you. Girl: Erja
Boy: Ezra and Asa

I'd like Reneya better if it were spelled Renayah.
If Tenzin is for a boy, it is suitable.

esia is a great name =]
reneyah is kool =]
theyr both unusual so people will probably pronounce them wrong the first few times they say it.

tenzin sounds like tamsin with a speech problem so not so great

anavrin is very kool AND clever because if ur kid wants a more normal name they can shorten it and be ana or ann or anny

tainara sounds like a name for a can of paint...sorry!

tazmin isnt so original coz my friend is called tazmin

roxiana sounds good tho =]

id consider esia as a name
but the others not so much sorry

anavrin would be a kool middle name tho =]

I really like Esia and Reneya as for the others I know how it is to grow up with names that are spelt differently and it was a very hard way to live. But in this day I have grown to appreciate the thought and uniqeness that my parents put into my name and your child will too!

Everyone I know with a made-up name spends a lot of their life trying to explain how to spell it and pronounce it to people they meet or people who need their name for some paperwork. Your whim becomes someone else's lifetime burden.

Don't really like made up names. Reneya and Roxiana are ok but I would not use them on my child.
