I'm having twins-one boy plus one girl :)
I'm considering the name Bellatrix Arianne for a girl, the the mame Jacoby for a boy. I need a middle name for Jacoby and your opinions on the girl's name.
Arianne- pronouced a-ree-anne (long a) NOT are-ree-anne
Jacoby- pronouced ja-col-bee NOT jacob-bee or jacob-by

I LOVE both Arianne and Jacoby! Both are awesome names, especially Jacoby - it's a new favorite.

Bellatrix is really cool, but the only thing I'm concerned about is the connection to Harry Potter's Bellatrix - I doubt the HP craze will be done throughout your children's childhood lol. If you're a real fan of the series though, it would be an awesome tribute. If you're not, there's always other names that sound similar to it - Bellamy, Beatrix or Beatrice, etc. Beatrice Arianne would be great too.

Middle names for Jacoby could be: Jacoby Harrison, Jacoby Frederic, Jacoby Nicholson, Jacoby Nickolas, Jacoby Weston, Jacoby Oliver, Jacoby Devon, Jacoby Iain, Jacoby Samuel/Samson, Jacoby Christophe, Jacoby Earnest, Jacoby Hugo, Jacoby Hendrix, Jacoby Milo, Jacoby Bruno, Jacoby Booker, Jacoby Owen, etc. I like Jacoby Hendrix, Jacoby Owen or Jacoby Oliver the best.

Beatrice Arianne and Jacoby Hendrix would be adorable twins. You could call the Bea and Jake lol (pronounced Bee-ah). B/G twins are great - you get to choose both a girl and a boy name you love! lol Good luck and congrats!

PS Was the 'Ja-coL-by' a typo? Are you sure you didn't mean 'Ja-coH-by' instead? Jacolby would be pretty cool too though - it reminds me a bit of the name Colby. If you want it pronounced with the L, then I'd definitely go with Jacolby. It's a bit of a made-up name, but he'll always have a normal nickname to fall back on, which is important.

PPS And I agree with someone else here, thank you so much for not matching the names up! I hate that - rhyming names, alliterated names, etc.

Why don't you have Bella Arianne instead of Bellatrix? Arianne and Bella are both lovely names, but Bellatrix will make people think of the evil character in Harry Potter.

Jacolby with an "L" would be good if you want it to sound like ja-col-bee because when he gets older teachers will always mispronounce his name and it will bug him. A good middle name would be either Robert or Michael, in my opinion.

For the girl, I personally really like Arianne, not so keen on Bellatrix. I would swap them over if I were you, So you get Arianne Bellatrix. I think it flows better to. For the Boy, I think Rowan goes well with Jacoby as a middle name. It also goes with Jacob which is what he will probably be nicknamed if you call him Jacoby.
Nice names and good Luck.

Thank you for NOT having the names sound alike or even starting with the same letter. I hate that cutesy stuff they put on twins names.

As for the names themselves. Another pet peeve of mine, and most everybody else, are names that are not pronounced like they are spelled. It just leads to a life of the child looking at the teacher like he or she is an idiot and saying, "It's pronounced A-ree-anne, not Are-ree-anne."

If you want the name pronounced Ja-col-bee instead of Jacob-bee, then put an L in the middle. Then it will be Ja-colby.

Jacoby and Arianne are cute! A middle name for Jacoby is Ryan, Michael, Jaxon (pronounced jackson) or Kieth? Just a few different boy names, I love the name faith so you could do Arianne Faith? But those are just suggetions, congrats on your twins! Best Wishes!

I like Arianne for a girl, but not the first name. It just sounds made up and a little silly. Sorry.

If you want the name Jacoby to be pronounced Jacolby, then spell it that way. Possibly Jacolby Ethan?

aww! congratulations!
i myself am a twin, however my twin is also a girl...
i like the Arianne for the girl
however I'm not fond of the Jacoby, try looking on a baby names and meaning website to find a more suitable name that goes along with Arianne but don't make it too close.

I hate to say it, but I agree with RadTech. I actually do like Jacoby though. Call him Colby for short? I love Arianne, but as a first name. You could call her Ari for short, but I like it as is.

Alternatives:
Arianne Belle
Arianne Bell
Arianne Elle
Arianne Rose
Arianne Lil
Arianne Julia

As for Jacoby:
Jacoby Ross
Jacoby Quinn
Jacoby McCall
Jacoby Ian
Jacoby Miles

Hope this helps!
