I think it's most commonly pronounced "ZAVE-yer", but I've also heard people pronounce all the letters like "Ex-AVE-ee-yer"

I'm not quite sure how to pronounce Keiyotiey. Maybe "kay-oh-tee" or "kay-oh-tee-yay"?

I will tell you where this idiocy got started, in the south. Since I have lived in Arkansas I have encountered a poor child with the name Sean, pronounced by fool parents See-an, a woman whose name is Sonja, pronounced son-ja, a Theresa pronounced Thressa, and a Gretel called Greethel. The name is and always will be pronounced Havier or zavier, never, ever Exavier, unless you live in the un educated south, then pronounce it how ever you want, it won't matter anyway.

there's slightly boy who lives for the era of from the line from me, and he announces it /zay-vee-er/ so because it rather is how I say it :) in my view, I even have in no way heard of it being pronounced with 'ex' on the initiating yet i think all of it comes right down to non-public selection.

I think Xavier is pronounced Havier. As in Xavier Solana.

My friend Xavier says his name: zay-vee-yer, but I also know someone who says his name Ex-ay-vee-yer.

You could always ask him with a big smile. I am sure he'd love the attention.

The classic pronunciation is ZAY-vee-ur or ZAY-vyur (depending on how quickly it's said), but many unfamiliar with it commonly use ig-ZAY-vee-ur, so that has become a frequent variant.

So while I'd assume the ZAY- beginning sound instinctively, I'd likely just ask him which he uses. :)

I know from a previous post how your name is intended to be pronounced, but phonetically -- according to every rule of grammar I'm familiar with -- I'd have assumed it kee-IE-oh-tie-ee. Sorry. :(
