i don't get it... do people actually truly come here for advice on baby names? as in their own children? their flesh and blood? what'r you gonna do when your kids asks about it: say "oh, well i was inspired by some guy on the internet..."?

This is a list of over-used and abused names. If you don't believe me check the social security website; it shows exact statistics of babies born with these names in each state each year.

Boys:
AIDEN
Caden/ Caiden/ Cade

Girls:
MADISON (!!!)
GRACE (!!!)
Emily
Isabella/ Isabell
Ava
Emma
Hannah
Rose (middle name)
Chloe
Elizabeth
Neveah
McKenzie (or anything w/ a "Mc")

These are pretty names, I know, but enough is enough.
Just my opinion.

He says that he would like to be a part of the babies life, but I think that if they are not married, then the baby should have her last name. Any ideas or previous experience with this?

Just wanting some opinions on how you would spell Caleb.

I like the idea of having a Y in a name, but does it look too girly?

So Caleb or Cayleb ?

Ok, so we have had one Boy name picked since before my daughter was born 3 years ago... Although we are not set on matching names we would kind of like them to sound nice together. The name we have picked out for one of them is Ethan, but have not loved any of the others we have heard.

I am having ababy girl and I don't know what to name her. I have an original name and I don't know what other original names that would fit with our last name. I want an original name that will go with Anderson and her middle name is going to be Ray.

any suggestions?

We have a daughter named Brielle. We want something that is unique--possibly a spin on a more conventional name--and that can be shortened.

Middle name would possibly be Paige. Last name is 3 syllables.

Kendall
Giselle
Malia (Mah-leah)
Quinn
Kaelyn
Lila (Lie-lah)
Talia (Tah-leah)
Taryn
Lainey

Make your own suggestions too! Thanks!

My husband is second generation Italian. He insists on Italian American names, as our last name is Albertini. We are pregnant with our third. 1st is Anthony Michael. 2nd is Nina Marie. Here is what I am thinking for Boys:
Frank (Frankie or Franko), middle name would probably be Arthur (family name) or Vincent - tell me honestly what you think

Girls names we like seem endless:
Naomi
Tessa
Claira (or Claire)
Amelia

Please provide input on how you like the name Frank, and some more italian american boys names. (I honestly love the name, especially Frankie when he is younger, but I am afraid my baby is going to sound like an old grandpa!!) Also, comment on the girls names.
