These are the name I love, my husband is not sold.....
What do you think, or do you have a suggestion that I might like and that he will also like. HHubby likes masculine names...
My favorites are:

Lakin James

Tyser Kent

Why not use James Lakin or Kent Tyser instead? James and Kent are really quite masculine, so you could compromise with your husband. I love Kent especially (hello - Clark Kent? lol). I like Lakin and Tyser, but I don't think they show as much strength as either James or Kent. Middle names are great to use more creativity, since your kid won't have to continually spell it out or anything for people when he grows up.

Kent Tyser really does have a better ring to it than Tyser Kent... please think about it. Good luck with your baby anyway!

Your husband is right. The kids are going to have a field day with both those names. Lakin rhymes with too many words . . . Lakin's makin' bacon . . . or . . . Fakin' Lakin . . . or . . . We ain't takin' Lakin (when choosing teams).

Tyser is too close to tazer to escape teasing. Besides, he'll be known as the "hypno-Tyser" or the "Sani-Tyser" or any other combination the kids can think of.

Why not James Kent or Kent James (if you like those names). Add a syllable if that sounds too curt, Kenton James sounds cool, as does James Kenton, or Jamison Kent.

This is a case of ". . . Anything but SUE!".

Honestly, I think these names are too odd to wear comfortably. Lakin strikes me as rather feminine; Tyser sounds too close to either taser or Kaiser, neither a pleasant connotation for a child's name.

If you like the water imagery of Lake in Lakin, there's Bay. Far more masculine, but equally unusal. And Tyson, while it does bring to mind chicken, is a stronger alternative to Tyser, while still leaving you the nickname Ty.

Maybe Lakin James, not Tyser. Why not James Lakin?

Umm, well I definitely like that they're different! I just think people would always have a hard time spelling/pronouncing/understanding those names. I think Lake would be better than Lakin, but your husband probably wouldn't like it, lol. Tyser reminds me of "Taser"... I think Tyler or Taylor would be really nice though!

Lakin James is nice but I have heard it on girls. I'm not sure about Tyser. It reminds me too much of Taser.

Never heard of either first name, but I like them. The first one reminds me of a name in a book:

Lokin (loe-kin)

I really liked that one too.
Of yours, I like Lakin James the best.

Hope this helps = )
