I wasn't given a middle name but in my 30's after I got divorced I changed my last name to my grandmother's maiden name, not back to my maiden name and added a middle name, Anne (same as yours and for me it was my other grandmother's first name).

Mine is Lesley... it was my mother's maiden name and she gave it to me and now my daughter is Teslyn Lesley and I hope she will feel connected to us enough that she too will name her daughter something Lesley one day.
Being the only kid in the family with mom's name as part of mine always made me feel special... like we had a secret connection that my siblings didn't have with her.
