This is a list of over-used and abused names. If you don't believe me check the social security website; it shows exact statistics of babies born with these names in each state each year.

Boys:
AIDEN
Caden/ Caiden/ Cade

Girls:
MADISON (!!!)
GRACE (!!!)
Emily
Isabella/ Isabell
Ava
Emma
Hannah
Rose (middle name)
Chloe
Elizabeth
Neveah
McKenzie (or anything w/ a "Mc")

These are pretty names, I know, but enough is enough.
Just my opinion.

why do you care what other people are named???

Unless one of those is your name and your tired of everyone having it too, then go ahead and continue being mad...

Yeah popular names are oversude thats how they become popular, If one picks a name from the social security list that is between 50-100 they will have chosen a name that is neither common nor unheard of.

I hear ya and I would also like to add Chloe to the list along with Jaden/Jalen and Lily as stated by someone else. I've just seen them all way to much in the past few years. Time for some new ideas IMO.

I just had my daughter and I named her Emma, ever since I was 9 I wanted to name my baby girl Emma. I didn't know we had to check the social security website or think "hmm..I wonder if this person would be annoyed if I named my child Emma"....now how does this harm you?? How is this annoying?? Go find something else that bugs you because whining over this won't fix it.

You forgot Lily.....lovely name but way over used
And for boys you missed Caleb aka Kaleb
Max

I agree with you about the trendy names.
Poor kids will head off to kindergarden and be Rose #3
Emma #12

It amazed me that some people think they are being
original.

I heard the name Saffron for a girl. I think it is great! Trendy without being trendy.

Just like the baby boomers - the girls are all Linda and the boys are all Michael Guess the parents all wanted their kids to fit in. - unlike today. Everyone is using the same name but think they are being stylish. No accounting for taste.

I love unique names but I also love the name Grace and Isabella

And...??? What's your point here?

Names go in popularity waves. People like what they like. There's nothing you can do about it. Not even go onto a message board and post that you think enough is enough.
