My friend has been looking to me for support because she is dealing with her daughter having scary friends - older boys in cars, drugs, stealing liquor and other things. It is difficult for adults to tell friends 'no', let alone a young teen. What should she say to her daughter? How should she handle it with minimum damage to their mother/daughter relationship?

My brothers bestfriend always came to my house and we kinda started to like each other. He told me that he really loved me and it wasn't one of those fake guys trying to get in your pants.I really love him too, but we kinda hid it from my parents and my brother. An we'd kiss and everything, but one day my mom caught us and she flipped out. My dad went to his house and chased him, and they wouldn't give us a chance to tell them how we feel. They screwed my window shut, WIPED ME, made me quit softball, and grounded me from the phone. I still love him and we would do anything for each other. We still talk some times though. He said he'd wait for me till I got old enuff. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!

Why do young teenage girls ask people what they think of them and show a picture? Call me over protective, but are you crazy? I would throw my computer in the yard if my daughter did that. Paents put your computer where you can see what your kids are doing. I would hate to know that someone's child got hurt because of this stupidity. Girls, what does it matter what other people think- much less a stranger? You are putting yourself and family at risk. You could get kidnapped, raped or killed. All so someone can tell you you're cute. What are you thinking?
