Don't let your friend be in the middle of the relationship that you have with your guy.

She has opinions, she's told you, and you are thinking about it. Your guy has never given you reason to doubt his word, so don't start just because of something that your friend says. It's not her place to get in the middle.

How long have you been best friends?
My best friend and I know each other like the band of our hands. She even knows the nicknames i have for my underwear lol.
If she were to tell me some guy only wants to get in my pants, I'd trust her.

However, if this guy really has never pressured anything on you, then why would she assume that? If he's respecting you enough to go at your pace, why are you worried?

But the fact you posted this, makes me wonder if you do have worries. Cuz it obviously means you do.

Are you sure he's never pressured you by taking a different route? Like being sweet and guilting you into doing anything?

If he honestly hasn't, don't worry about it. But if he ever shows signs of pressuring you, or abusive signs, then drop him.

hmmm.. you have to ask yourself is your friend telling you this cause your boyfreind told her that??? or is she just saying it cause she thinks all guys are like this???

It sounds like to me that your best friend is either tellng you something that she knows...or tellng you something that she thinks?

I would have to say is if you are saying your boyfriend is sweet and not pressuring you to have sex....then why think otherwise??? He is telling you something believe him for what he is saying!!!

Once and if he starts asking you to get in your pants then I would worry if he is a liar...But now it seems that he is a real boyfriend and respects what you want!!

I would not listen to your sooo called best friend!!! She doesn't know about your relationship no matter what you tell her...what makes a relationship if you and your boyfriend and Noone Else!!

and Kudos to you for not wanting to have sex!!!!! Stay a Virgin and listen to what your heart tells you!! You are doing Wionderful!!!

Wow... I've been in the same situation before.

I gave him another chance. And it turns out my friend was wrong :]

But.. Be careful around him. She may be right you know. If she really is your best friend then she wouldnt want you to be hurt. There has to be a reason why she said that.

Is she dating anyone? If not she might just be jealous that you have someone and she doesn't. Not all guys are the same, and she may be judging him based on the other guys you dated. Just tell her that he is not trying anything. She may also be jealous if you are not spending as much time with her as you do when you are not dating someone.

I have always said you can't trust what you can't control. The friend may be jealous and after him herself- or maybe he really is a dog. Do some digging on both before you make ANY decisions.

You cant know for sure, ever. Best thing to do, is to be with a guy for at least 2-3 weeks before you sleep with him.. If he breaks up after a week, you know it was a jerk.

I'd believe your best friend. Guys can be sweet but sometimes it's part of the "charm her till she gives it up" act(not all guys, mind you. But it happens.). Best friends are hard to come by but guys are a dime a dozen. I'd listen to your sister soldier.
