Pregnancy & Parenting - 1 July 2006

My daughter is 5 and despratly wants to tie her shoes by herself. We have been workinhg on it for a couple of months but we are both getting frustrated. I am right-handed and she is left, wich I think is part of the problem. If anyone knows any good technigues, rhymes, or anything that may help please let me know. She is wanting to maybe learn before she starts school

AHHHHHHHHH... My twins will not for the life of me sleep through the night and it is getting really annoying. Anyways does anyone have any good pointers on how to get both to sleep all night. I just want them to have a good nights sleep and me to have a good nights sleep.Why is this so hard. Does anyone know somewhere I can go now to get help, I'm sitting alone in a one room apartment, while my guys at work all day till middnight. When he's home all he does get mad , mad that I cry because he wants me to have an abortion,mad that I throw up and I can'thelp it. I'm crying here all alone and I'm going crazy. What I really want is to go home but that's 3600 miles away and I have to depend on him to buy the plane tickets. I'm in Astoria ny and I dont have any money so does anyone know somewhere I can go to get some help now?

My girlfriend has been complaining of a persistant headache for the past three days and mild tiredness. Also she just started her period on last saturday and we thought she was done with her period around wednesday but she says it kinda started again around wed. or thursday and its still bleeding a week later because its now the next saturday. However, its also the start of summer and her sleep patterns have been out of wack. she goes to bed around 3am or 4am and goes to work around 10am. also, shes a big coffee drinker and has cut back on it the past weeks. i dont know if her headaches are from caffeine withdrawals and lack of sleep or if all the described symptoms or due to pregnancy or if its even something else for the bleeding. also, shes been kinda stressed out for being an incoming freshman for college and shes late with her registration papers and having some family problems so maybe its stress, but i dont know. please help.

I have issues with anxiety attacks and was on medication before becoming pregnant. I have spoke with my doctor and he says there is nothing I can do about that right now until after the first trimester is over. 7 and 8 days after i had sex my boobs were sensitive and i felt sick, then on the 9th day i started my period about a week or a week and a 1/2 early. i never have symptons such as sensitive breasts. its now been 24 days since ive had sex and i still feel nauses. could i be pregnant even though i had a period? is having an early period a sign of pregnancy? how likely is it that im pregnant, considering all this?

..and he only goes when he has no diaper or anything on. So I let him walk around my house with just a shirt on. Is that wrong? A friend ofmine told me what I'm doing is wrong and disgusting, but im trying so hard. If I put a diaper or underwear, he goes right in them, but with nothing, he goes rght in the bathroom!

I am about to request a DNA test for my daughter so that I can get child support for her, but when the process is over and done with, will I have to change her last name to his? He is not on the birth certificate now, so she has my last name, I know he will have rights to her, but do we have to absolutely change her last name?
