My period is five days late, i have been sick to my stomach for a week, my lower back hurts sometimes, my breasts are sensitive to touch, i eat more, i am tired alot, and i urinate more than usual, i have taken two tests and they were both negative. Could i be pregnant? Are these symptoms? I have been told it is all in my head.... is this true?

No one but the doctor can tell you if you are pregnant. The symptoms do not matter as many women do not experience any at all and some that do, have a positive pregnancy test before they have any of the symptoms. And, others experience symptoms because they are either afraid of being pregnant or they want so badly to be pregnant. However, the very first symptom, will be a missed period. So, if you miss or missed your period, go to your doctor for a blood pregnancy test. A blood pregnancy test is more sensitive than a urine test so please call your doctor and ask him to order one for you.

OK let's see where to start: first there is a condition where you think your pregnant your body actually tells you that you have the symptoms. All that you described are signs of pregnancy but nothing that occurs that early in a pregnancy. Your area should have a local health department where you can go to get tested, depending on your income it might $10 for a test, you can choose a blood test; which is more accurate but the blood works takes a couple of days or you can take a urine test. If it turns out you are they can help you further.

You need to go to a doctor or urgent care regardless or what the test says. Most places have a sliding payment scale. If you are following the directions on the box and still having pregnancy symptoms, you may be having an ectopic pregnancy which sometimes gives a false negative. Also, my first test (5 days after my last period) was negative. I waited for 4 more days and took one first thing in the morning, it was positive.

You need to have blood work done baby..... home prego tests are known to not be 100% accurate. The state should give you medical if you are prego and there are places that will give you tests for free. the home test could have come up negative because you took it too early most require that you wait five weeks after having sex to use one that way the hormone in your urine can be detected by the home test. Personally it sounds like you got 9 months to me and then you are gonna have a little you by your side.

Sounds like you're pregnant to me,and I have been 5 times now,The best thing I can yell you to do is go to your local family planning or free clinic and get a test done there,if for some reason there test comes up negative than they can yell you what else could possibly be wrong with you.As far as the home tests they often show false negatives,so I would go to a doc. or clinic to be sure.

sounds like you are pregnant to me..false negatives (and positives) are far more common than people know..if you don't have a doctor or insurance..maybe try something like Planned Parenthood ..that's where i went and it cost $15 to get a test done..they'll also give you all the info you need about caring for yourself and the baby....keep in mind some people take tests at home and the dr and they all say negative (even when they're 5 months pregnant.)

It's possible that you are. I would wait another 4-5 days and test again. You may not have been producing enough pregnancy hormone for the test to detect it before. Look for a test designed to detect early pregnancy...these can detect the least amount of hormone. While it is possible that your mind is trying to convince your body that you're pregnant, you do have a lot of symptoms that are associated with pregnancy...then again, many of them are associated with pms to. Either way...I hope it works out for you the way you want it to! Best of luck

I would say you are probably pregnant but i am not a dr. Try to retest in a couple days with your first morning urine it has more of the pregnancy hormone in it. Or just go to the doctors and have a blood test done more accurate. Go to the welfare office if you are pregnant and theey should be able to get you insurace through them.

Yes, you could be pregnant ;but you could also have a UTI (bladder infection) or maybe even a stomach virus. Also if you're under a lot of stress sometimes that will make your period irregular. Give it a few more days and then go buy another pregnancy test.

They sound like the symptoms I had when I got pregnant. You could buy a home test but they didn't work for me. It was wrong. There should be a local place where you live like a planned parenthood where they will provide you with a free and anonymous test. You should look into that and GOOD LUCK
