America didn't knock down the towers - Islamic radicals did. Now I'm seeing questions implying that Clinton somehow was responsible for the trajedy in Waco - a tragedy clearly orchestrated and carried out by David Koresh and the Branch Davidians. For 51 days, federal agents and professional negotiators tried everything humanly possible to bring this standoff to a peaceful conclusion.
"On July 21, 2000, after a 10 month investigation, Danforth issued a preliminary report exonerating the government and its agents. His report concluded that federal agents did not start the fire, direct gunfire at the complex, or improperly employ US armed forces. Danforth assigned responsibility for the tragedy to the Branch Davidians and David Koresh. They contributed to the tragedy by refusing to exit the compound during the 51 day standoff, directing gunfire at FBI agents, shooting members of the compound, and ultimately setting the fire that burned the compound down.

Why is that so hard to accept?

Political assassinations have gone on a long time; whether it be attempted or succeeding in them. Fidel Castro, Saddam Hussein, Stalin, Pol Pot, Kim Jong Il.. to name a few have had been the subject of assassination attempts by the American government and other nations as well.

Are governments "allowed" to do this?

now when any real Christian tries to run for office the liberals have ingeniously twisted separation of church and state into separation of church FROM state. They have no problem with people running who claim to be Christian but dont follow it, or someone who will denie their belief, because they ignorantly think the person will be more Liberal. Don't they realize the person could just as likely be a fascist? I am an agnostic and dont believe in religion. I would rather someone in office who admits their beliefs. Besides there bigotry is very disturbing. You cant run for office because you're a christian. What next can't vote either?

1) Eliminating the IRS - this would be awesome, no doubt, but the consequences would be - interest rates soar - after all, if there is no money to pay the interest on the bonds, why would foreign holders continue to hold our debt?.....the stock market declines nicely, perhaps 30-40% (maybe more) because the ability for our government to issue debt is vital for our economy....the dollar plummets further, perhaps to $4/euro, why? well when those foreign debt holders dump our bonds they will sell dollars and buy back their currency. 2) the elimination of the federal reserve......with no lender of last resort who would prevent runs on our banks when there is a mad rush to convert meaningless paper assets to gold 3) putting us back on the gold standard would cause mass inflation while the economy plunges into recession because no money to back our bonds and no fed to rescue the banks, everything of real value rises - gold, wheat , oil.... no way he could do it even 2 terms

In theory liberalism is a good idea. It's a noble concept to want to help people who can't help themselves. But I think modern liberals have went to far in pandering to minorities, & trying to give them artificial rights. I think liberal policies like affirmative action, & people like Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson really just create more racism & division in American society. Hate crime legislation was designed to protect minorities from biased crimes. I think it's stupid that there are special presidential debates for black & hispanic issues. I don't think minorities should be given special treatment because they are minorities. If you give special protection, privileges, rights, or advantages to people who aren't white, doesn't that cause discrimination against people who are white?

We need to vote the bums out. The democrats had their chance to make things better and they blew it, so now its time for the GOP to take the rains, and lead America back into prosperity, since the Dems took it away from us, sadly.

Just look what he does when he goes on vacation, he works at his ranch, hauling brush and stumps. The man never gets tired of hard work, and that is a sign of a moral, honest, and good man.

At least he sticks up for the working people, where as liberals put them down, fact.
