When all you have to offer is socialism, you have to go negative and wish, pray (not to God) and hope for bad things to happen to your own country whenever your party is not in power.
If socialism was really that wonderful, liberals would not have to trick people into buying into it; of course, no one would opt for socialism if it were presented honestly, without bias.
So, liberals gained momentum while Iraq was difficult. They wanted you to believe that if Bush made an error going into Iraq, then socialism is vindicated. Huh? Well, if people will believe the Clinton's marriage is for real, what else will they buy?

If the sun was shining on the most beautiful day of the year, Liberals would complain about the potential for skin cancer.
It seems the Republicans were right about most everything (except the extent of the insurgency in Iraq).
Bush wisely ignored the Liberals who mocked him for not caving into North Korea's demands for bilateral talks. Now Bush has the last laugh.
Clinton's smoke and mirrors economy was supported by pure fiction: the "high tech" companies that never produced a dime of revenue and finally succumbed to the pressure of investors to actually (gasp!) make some product or show a profit.
Republicans (well, at least Reagan) was right about how to win the Cold War.
Republicans were right about nuclear energy. If we had ignored the nutty hippies, we could have pursued clean, safe nuclear energy as France did, and be completely energy sufficient right now. Thanks a lot, Libs! :(
Democracy has taken hold in the Middle East, and there is no turning back. People there talk about how their own "Berlin Wall" has fallen. Those who still live under oppressive regimes are clamoring for freedom.
Conservatives were (and always have been) right about education, and our dismal SAT scores prove the fact. Back when Conservatives controlled education, a high school graduate was well equipped for the real world. Now he's equipped for an exciting career at McDonalds.
Supposing that Republicans maintain the White House, Liberals will be seething with so much pent up rage that they'll either implode, or finally take a good, hard look at their loony ideas and political stances... yes, those policies that have the terrorists hoping a Democrat gets in the White House.

I'm complain about this drought. I walked at the bottom of a lake to get my ball (golf, I suck), and I didn't get my shoes wet. Okay, I'm not complaining about that specific event (otherwise I'd miss my good one). But the drought over all is getting annoying, especially given that we had rain yesterday. How does it rain and still stay dry and hot? I'm in a T-shirt on New Years Eve!
Oh, complain about something political? How come the GOP gets their own initials for shorthand while the Democrats can't? That's not fair.

Why do your kind deny the fact that ever since al- sadar ordered his army to stand down the violence has decresed in iraq. the gop will be losers for many years. anyone who sides with the gop sides with evil and are haters of the constitution. Treasoners will get what they deserve and most cons are treasoners. does the recent decline in the stock market have any indication to you how the economy is doing? look at the deficit? the only booming going on is your head bouncing of the toilet seat.

Iraq hasn't calmed down. Even if it was, complaining about the hundreds of thousands dead there would be enough for me, I don't have to complain about the present.
The economy is actually still in a downturn. Gas prices are constantly fluctuating between obscenely high prices. That's simply one example, there are plenty of others. Care to back up what you're saying. As for regaining control of Congress, I haven't heard that at all.

The same things! If a beautiful thing were to happen in the sky tomorrow, it would be called a disaster. They are the party of doom and gloom.
The Republicans will optimistically take the presidency, senate and congress in 08!
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
