get the taxes back on the fuel I have used in my boat, snowmobile, lawn mover, weed wacker, etc. My understanding is that the tax's are to be used for the roads and none of these have been used on a road?

I have used over 1300 gallons on these items and I have the receipts.

Your taxes have already been spent, so I would be difficult to get anything back from the Government.

You would probably have better luck claiming your pet as a deduction, just say that the dog is a contractor, maintaining security on your house.
