No. There is no rational reason to hate President George W Bush. I do not agree with him 65% of the time, but I do not hate him.

So long as he is an active threat, an unrealistic pseudo-theocrat holding power over the lives of 300 million people and standing in the way of desperately needed change, a restoration of individual rights under a falsified consitution ad impoverishing 1/3 of the world with his failed economic voodoo giveaways of hundreds of billions of moey alienared from citizens to insider corporate cronies--the real question has to be "Is it be rational not to hate such a controlling would-be imperial president and horrendous political failure?"
Thanks for asking.

"Hate" and "rational" don't go together. You can disagree with the President's decisions. You can consider unsuited for the job. You can think poorly of Washington politics and politicians. If you can honestly convince yourself that he is acting with malevolent intent, then you can perhaps hate the man for what little good that may do you. But you can't hate the President.

Hate by nature is not rational. The question makes no sense.

No. People are irrational about this president and believe anything bad no matter how clearly false. It's the same with the country, people hate our country and it is not logical or fact-driven.

(Obviously this doesn't apply to all Americans, just the anti-Americans).

Hate is not rational. It is rational to not like many of his policies. It is also rational to feel that he is not looking out for my best interest.

no but Rational thought doesn't play much of a part in today's politics on any side of the aisle.
