when Bush was running for president in 2000, he wrote a letter to the Armenian National Committee affirming that the Armenians were “subjected to a genocidal campaign.” He promised that if “elected president,” he would make sure that the United States “properly recognizes” the tragedy. From his letter:

The twentieth century was marred by wars of unimaginable brutality, mass murder and genocide. History records that the Armenians were the first people of the last century to have endured these cruelties. The Armenians were subjected to a genocidal campaign that defies comprehension and commands all decent people to remember and acknowledge the facts and lessons of an awful crime in a century of bloody crimes against humanity. If elected President, I would ensure that our nation properly recognizes the tragic suffering of the Armenian people.

foreign policies? Do you think its because no country has really ever had the power of the USA and tried to just live in peace, and from such, there really is no definite "good" path to take, so in essence, they are taking the good path in foreign policy, or is it something else?

OK, for years we Conservatives have been saying that the media is biased and that it tries to spin the news toward it's own agenda. For years you guys have said that is not true (except FOX News, of course)

However, do you guys not see that the media is already forcing Hillary and Guiliani on us? Do you guys not notice that, not only are our candidates like Fred Thompson and Ron paul being pushed aside, but also your candidates like Obama and Edwards?

Do you guys now see what the media is doing, it is forcing "their" candidates on us? Or have you not noticed that the only candidates getting good publicity this election are Clinton and Guiliani?

The media needs to be stopped. It needs to know that we want NEWS, not commentary. Are you guys on our side now?

If it were not for Ross Perot entering the race in 1992, thereby splitting the Republican vote, Bill Clinton would not have won the Presidency. Most people who voted for Perot would have voted Republican; this is a fact. If Perot had stayed out, George H.W. Bush would have won.

If it weren't for Bill Clinton being President, Hillary would not have any merit of her own to persue the Presidency. This is undeniable. Therefore, Ross Perot is the root cause of Hillary running for President. Am I right?

And is it good for our country?

"Partly it’s a reaction to what happened in 2000, when the American people chose Mr. Gore but his opponent somehow ended up in the White House. Both the personality cult the right tried to build around President Bush and the often hysterical denigration of Mr. Gore were, I believe, largely motivated by the desire to expunge the stain of illegitimacy from the Bush administration.

And now that Mr. Bush has proved himself utterly the wrong man for the job — to be, in fact, the best president Al Qaeda’s recruiters could have hoped for — the symptoms of Gore derangement syndrome have grown even more extreme.

The worst thing about Mr. Gore, from the conservative point of view, is that he keeps being right. In 1992, George H. W. Bush mocked him as the “ozone man,” but three years later the scientists who discovered the threat to the ozone layer won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry."

Do you agree? http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/15/opinion/15krugman.html

How come Democrats would rather simply handout money to poor people, instead of educating them to get their own jobs?

Is it to get votes? Heck, if a Presidential candidate offered to give me free money, I'd vote for him!!!

How about instead of welfare, we simply pump more resources into our education system, and teach people to earn for themselves, instead of suckling at the government's teat?

Is that OK Democrats? Or is any idea that forces people to actually DO something for their money a "violation of their rights"?
