Is it just too much government and is it time for a clean sweep and a new government?

Not really a power struggle so much and job justification for elected officials to maintain a "Career Politician" status. All this noise from either side and still the funding for the war is always approved and it is still being conducted.

I don't know exactly what you mean, but maybe you mean between the two business parties. In this sense, no, I don't think there's much of a power struggle. They both do not believe in any fundamental changes in our country.

I think there has always been a power struggle between the mass of people and the government. The mass, in my opinion, is largely excluded from the "democratic" process. Voting and then returning to our hectic lives is a democratic sham; people should have more say in the formation of topics and issues to vote on. Our "representatives" our bogus servants of the public.

As long as there are different political parties in Washington, there will always be a power struggle, always has been and always will.
