Would any smart American like to come to our rescue and summarize what Americans are truly like after reading many of our postings and their response to us? Can you be truly proud of these people (posters)?

And would anyone care to apologize?

Should we desire to be friends with America, after how we've been treated here?

Some very good questions!

Yours,

I read that she stands for one thing in one area of the country and contradicts herself in another part of the country. When is she going to reach the decision to tell us what she really means?

The United States Senate drafted a letter condemning Rush Limbaugh for the phoney soldiers comment. This letter was no more then a smear attempt on Rush. Anyone who knows anything of the history of Rush knows how he is loved by the military and he has always backed the military.

Rush put that letter on Ebay and is auctioning it off ..proceeds going to a fund that helps the children of fallen Marines and police officers. Rush said he will match whatever the letter autions for and challanged the dems who wrote and signed the letter to do the same. Will any of the dems meet this challenge for the children??

George W.Bush?

Amidst the continued outpouring of praise for Ronald Reagan, let's not forget that he was one of the most anti-labor presidents in U.S. history, a role model for the virulently anti-labor George W. Bush.
Reagan's war on labor began in the summer of 1981, when he fired 13,000 striking air traffic controllers and destroyed their union. As Washington Post columnist Harold Meyerson noted, that was "an unambiguous signal that employers need feel little or no obligation to their workers, and employers got that message loud and clear -- illegally firing workers who sought to unionize, replacing permanent employees who could collect benefits with temps who could not, shipping factories and jobs abroad."

Honestly, isn't anyone else concerned about our future? To the 30 somethings out there...look at what we face...
offshoring of our jobs
global warming
peak oil
the bankrupting of social security in 10 years (possibly)...
With no jobs, no climate, no oil, and no money to survive on, what are we going to do in the future?? Do we really trust our government to solve these problems for us? Look at the WONDERFUL job they have done so far...we are now slaves to China, who can bankrupt us at any moment by selling off our bonds..or slaves to the countries that sell us our oil. Does anyone else out there have an increased feeling of dread for us in the next 20 years? What about OUR children?

With one stroke of his veto pen, the President denied 10 million kids healthcare. And on Thursday the House of Representatives will decide whether or not they're alright with that.
The vote on Thursday will say a lot about where we are at as a nation. Just 15 House Republicans stand in the way of healthcare for 10 million kids.
Are you alright with this?
