How many housing forclosures would be avoided if Americans had that much more money in their pockets? Ron Paul just plain makes sense.

worse than Larry Craig desperately seeking a homosexual encounter in a public toilet?

I can see how each has it's own particularly nasty points.

Edwards was asked during his appearance how he explained the contradiction of asking Americans to sacrifice while he's living in a 28,000-square-foot mansion.

He said he came from nothing, worked hard all his life, has always supported workers and fought big corporations as a lawyer.

"I have no apologies whatsoever for what I've done with my life," he said to loud cheers. "My entire life has been about the same cause, which is making sure wherever you come from, whatever your family is, whatever the color of your skin, you get a real chance to do something great in this country."

maybe he needs it to drive all those poor people to the polls when they want to vote.

2 Americas, indeed.

I'm thinking starting off with getting rid of knives, forks and spoons and maybe taking our shoes off when entering a house would be a good start...and hey...the latter is just good manners too.

Consider....

- They were all extremely wealthy, many with hereditary wealth.
- Many owned slaves and it's believed that some abused these slaves. Jefferson apparently fathered children by a couple of his.
- They were extremely pro-business. In fact, their opposition to British taxes was the result of the impact those taxes had on their profit.
- They used the media to insight the public to war with blatant yellow journalism. Did you know that even with the tea tax, tea in the colonys was cheaper than tea in Great Britain?
- They opposed any form of public 'welfare'.
- They opposed any form of public tax. ALL taxes came from import fees.
- They insighted war with England more to free their business enterprises from British taxation and control rather than for any altruistic 'human rights'.
- They were all, to a man, devoutly religious and sought to protect religion from government oppression.

Does this sound liberal to you?

Alot of people say Mr. Bush is " ignorant " or " stupid " , but I believe that is somewhat of an act based on the way the man acted after 911 . The speech written below is one that moved me and one I bet an " ignorant " person couldn't write or even comprehend , yet Bush did and it still moves me , here it is -

"Great harm has been done to us. We have suffered great loss. And in our grief and anger we have found our mission and our moment. Freedom and fear are at war. The advance of human freedom, the great achievement of our time, and the great hope of every time, now depends on us. Our nation, this generation, will lift a dark threat of violence from our people and our future. We will rally the world to this cause, by our efforts and by our courage. We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail"

President George W. Bush
Address to congress and the nation, September 20,2001

Question - Anyone agree his " ignorance " is an act ?

Does he have a crystal ball that enables him to do so? or perhaps he makes his judgement based on astrology such as his mentor, Pres. Ronald Reagan.

If its none of the above, then he must have super intelligence beyond our understanding but I think thats highy unlikely given his IQ of 98 or less.

I mean really......

Does he think that by being in Iraq he is REALLY protecting the U.S. that well? First Al Qaeda has pre-9/11 strengths and has reformed in Pakistan NOT Iraq and there is not attempt to stop them or catch them what so ever. There are no MAJOR terrorists in Iraq anymore. Just home grown terrorists who want us out. Second with all of the illegals getting into our borders why does Bush think that terrorists are not? If he is SO insistent on fighting terrorists than how come terrorists can come into out country so easily? If illegal Mexicans can get in than nothing is stopping terrorists either. Isn't it a rule of thumb when trying to protect your country from an attack to secure your own base FIRST? Terrorists from lets just say Al Qaeda could come into this country so easily through South America or Canada but a majority of troops are in Iraq instead of protecting our borders. Why is this?

Larry Craig had a tip she'd be in the last stall but due to a slight delay he tapped his shoe to another guy after she left.

Any insight on this?

In his farewell address, George Washington warned the United States against several things. These issues now dominate the US government and have created countless problems for the US in the past and the present.

Washington warned against the dangers of a two party system and of foreign entaglments.

Washington is probably rolling in his grave.
