Where is the outrage from the newspaper and editorials? Are they too busy worrying about a Republican senator tapping their foot on a bathroom floor and can't report this outrage?

We need that type of attitude in the White House now more than ever.

Very similar --' You only know what you know' .

Some may look at this and say 'Pfft , what's that' or 'This is stupid' . . . . . But True Thinking folks 'know' what it means .
Are you a true thinker ? Good , then define what those phrases mean in the world of Politics .
Thank you .

A mailman donated about $45,000 to her campaign . Roughly what he earns in an entire year . Further investigation shows that this runs deeper than they thought . One of her fund-raisers(can't remember the guys name. . . a Yahoo news story would've been helpful) also listed this mailman's address as his own .
Then there's the issue of Harold Ickes(spelling) .More trouble coming . Yet this story is not visible if included at all .

When will they ever learn . . . . . . when will they ever learn ?

Doesn't it seem logical that the media would normally pounce on a big story like this ? Yet they haven't . Hmmmmmm , why would that be ? It couldn't be media bias now , could it ?

He had a li'l something to say about the political coverage of the mainstream media.

EXCERPT FROM ARTICLE:

DELAY: The double-standard in the media is amazing. The feeding frenzy, the sharks in the water that's going on right now because of a Republican. Where is the frenzy on Alan Mollohan from West Virginia or William Jefferson from Louisiana?

LAUER: I think you mentioned William Jefferson. There was an awful lot of coverage of William Jefferson when that story broke, congressman.

DELAY: Yeah, for just a couple of days and then we went on. In the case of a Republican, believe me I've experienced this, it's day in and day out in the media, and they write this story over and over and over again. We all know the double-standard in the media -- it's amazing.

as an Englishman who has recently returned from a business trip to the USA i feel i must ask this.
I was in a Chicago bar drinking pints of Stella and as i reached my 26th pint i began to feel a little tanked up and i urgently needed to take a whizz. As the toilets were on the other side of the room i decided to take a slash against the bar.As i emptied my bladder i was utterly disgusted to notice the barman PICK HIS NOSE whilst he thought nobody was watching. Are all Americans this rude?

Look at the discussion about healthcare and immigration. The dog-in-the-manger attitude is incredibly widespread, at least if you go by the answers on this site.

It is often said that women would like their husbands to do more housework.

What would happen if the women simply did less?

How dirty would the house become before the husband pitches in more? Is there anything unhealthy or illegal about letting a house get dirtier? Or are houses kept so clean to keep a woman "satisfied" and full of pride?

Men who live on their own do 100% of the housework. They do NOT go to jail for living in totally unacceptable conditions.... even though they may not keep their house as clean as a single woman might.

I haven't seen any single dads go to jail because their kids starve to death or don't have clean clothes.

Maybe I'm asking whether women are trying to impose their higher standards of "clean" onto the marriage. Is that right? Is that a sign of someone trying to impose "control"?

How much housework do Bill and Obama do?
