I could have sworn I saw him give a speech where he was basically cracking jokes the whole time while he was president. i think it was at the White House Press Correspondents Dinner. http://youtube.com/watch?v=XlzFohgYbnA here's a clip of Bush basically fooling around with an impersonator at his dinner in 2006. I'm wondering if I was just imagining the clip of Clinton. I could have sworn he was cracking jokes about how Al Gore wants to take over the white house and other issues. If anybody remembers or has seen it and knows where you could get a clip of Clinton's speech let me know. thanks.

oh yea, I'm 22 now so when i saw that clip of Clinton I must have been less than 15. It was a while ago.

Hate Crimes bill S 1105, from my understanding, protects Americans from violent hate crimes based on race, religion, gender, & sexual orientation, all basic stuff. Can anyone point out SPECIFICALLY where in the bill it says you can be prosecuted for a hate cime for saying you dislike a specific group of people?

I am new to this politics stuff. I voted for Bush in 2004 mostly because it was easy to see where Bush is on the issues. I like Kerry but it seems he changed his mind every week on a host of issues.

Now I don't like any of the candidates. Rudy, Mitt, The Actor & McCain are boring and Barak and Hillary are not qualified. They have never led anything like a state or company or been in the military. They are just two of 100 senators. Big deal.

Why wont the UN recognize the independence of defacto countries like....?
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Abkhazia, Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, Transnistria, South Ossetia, Solmaliland ETC...these places actually run as independent countries but hardly anyone will recognize them, why wont the UN recognize and lend support to these defacto nations?

(This same question has been asked on Y!A before, I just wanted to ask again to get some more viewpoints)

Also, why does the independence movement of Western Sahara receive little or no media coverage?
